Introduction to the Sportsbook

When you log on to the site it is plain to see that the RedZoneSports sportsbook is very fulfilling. They have nearly 40 sports on offer, and if you are a big American sports fan you are covered. They have NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and much more. They clearly pride themselves on the depth of markets on offer and their knowledge on the sports shines through. What’s more, they also appeal to the UK sports market with football, horse racing, greyhounds, snooker, and darts all on offer. In the table below you will find some sports and which leagues are covered.

The Most Popular Sports Markets at RedZoneSports
American Football (4) Basketball (47) Ice Hockey (31) Football (158) Golf (13)
NFL NBA NHL Premier League US Open
NCAAF NCAAB AHL Bundesliga Ryder Cup
CFL EuroLeague Russia KHL Ligue 1 USPGA Championship
YourZone EuroCup Swedish Hockey League Serie A US Masters
ACB League World Championship Champions League Open Championship
Italy – Lega 1 Champions Hockey League La Liga Race to Dubai

It is clear that the strength of this bookie is the number of leagues and events that are covered. When looking at football you see there are nearly 160 separate markets. Crazy! From the Premier League to the English Southern League, or the Iceland Reykjavik Cup to the Kuwait Federation Cup, they have you covered. Out of all the bookies we’ve reviewed, this was one of the most well covered. What’s more, if you are a fan of bowls, bundy, or trotting, you should be able to have your fun here.

This site truly is the British home for punters who love American sport. This niche could deter some of you, and we would understand if this put you off, as it’s clear these markets are their number one priority. However, we wouldn’t say their coverage of the UK markets suffer as a consequence, and it is a very good well-rounded sportsbook.

In-Play Betting and Live Streaming

In today’s day and age, in-play betting is integral to a bookie performing well. Luckily, RedZoneSports betting site does have this option integrated. The in-play section brings you to all the live events, and once you click on the match at hand there are many markets and bets to choose from. They even provide a very stylish visualisation sidebar that follows the action and has all up-to-date stats so you can make a concise judgment on where you want to bet. What’s more, they also push quick markets for certain events, so you can wager in as short a time as possible.

Unfortunately, they do not offer live-streaming. We think this could really push them over the top, imagine being able to watch the NFL or NBA whilst betting! Hopefully, they will consider this for the future and will adapt.

Multiples Bets

When placing your bet here, there are numerous options for you to choose from, with multiple selections and acca building easily done. There is also the opportunity to combine bets like on football where you can go for half-time/full-time & over/under 2.5, or Asians Handicap & Over/Under Corners FT/1st Half/2nd Half. It means there are many exciting bets you can place in order to keep your interest peaked. Obviously, system bets like Patent, Yankee, Heinz, and Goliath are all catered for.

The maximum number of selections on a slip is 20, so you can be sure that you can build that massive weekend cheeky acca, and if it comes in, you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Bet & Win Limits

Bet and win limits are very rarely taken into consideration when analysing an operator, but in reality, they should be. There’s nothing we imagine could be worse, if you think you’ve got a massive win, only to be told to read the terms and conditions and pack your bags.

That’s why we’ve scrupulously read through them for you. What we found at RedZoneSports UK was very encouraging. The maximum win is a big £500,000 for sports like football and NFL. When it comes to lesser sports, they still go up to £250,000 which is great and not every new player is so willing to part with their cash. The minimum bet varies depending on the market so make sure to check before trying to place a wager.

RedZoneSports Odds8

The importance of odds levels cannot be understated. To you, this means the higher they are the higher your payout will be. Some operators are very stingy, and it shows in what they offer. A bookie always gains our respect if they offer value to a customer. In order to give you a good overview, we created a very handy table below, where you can see the sport and associated payout level.

Odds Levels for the Largest Sports Markets

  • .
  • USA Football92.12 - 94.00%
  • Basketball93.00 - 94.36%
  • Ice Hockey91.44 - 92.34%
  • Football95.18 - 96.02%
  • Tennis90.41 - 91.23%
  • Golf89.99 - 90.99%
  • Baseball93.78 - 95.66%
  • Boxing89.65 - 91.28%

It is clear that RedZoneSports odds are very high. They believe in creating their own lines and odds for American sports, something that is unique, and it shows in what they offer. Furthermore, the payout on football is also very nice, we’d go as far as saying it is comparable with some big players. We really did not have any complaints here and came away with a very good impression of the operator and being honest that is not necessarily always the case!

RedZoneSports UK Platform 8

One of the most important aspects of this RedZoneSports review is how the website fared in our testing process. That means, how easy was it to use and if there were any glaring errors. Thankfully, we had a very pleasant ride. The navigation element is superb, with links following to where they should and everything a few clicks away. The betslip was clear and simple, and we really liked how open the platform was.

Another great feature was the search option, which inexplicably is not included in every site. The most popular link was also nice and can give a punter some inspiration on those down days. We were very impressed with what was on offer, and would not hesitate in recommending the site, even to our grandad!

How to Place a Bet

We are not only here to review the operator, but also to help you. How easy is it to place a bet? For some of you, you could do it with your eyes closed, for others we thought you might need a helping hand. After all, not everyone is a whizz kid on the old interweb are they? If you look below you will see we have created a very handy guide, following a step-by-step procedure on how to place a bet. Go ahead and give it a whirl.

Firstly, all you have to do is some searching. The navi bar on the left will lead you to a list of sports on offer, choose one and click on it. After that, you will see a whole load of events that you can select. Once you have found the one you like simply click it and then there will a list of bets on offer. Once you’ve found the one you fancy highlight it and it will be added to the betslip. The slip is on the right-hand side and you can then add your stake into the white box. Once you are happy with that you need to confirm your wager by clicking the big button that says, “place bets”. Boom. There you go, you have placed your first bet!

Company Info and Details

Who is behind RedZoneSports? That is a top question that not everyone asks. It is integral to assess the integrity of who you are playing with in order to protect your security and make sure you see your money when you win. That’s why we did some digging around and our results can be found here.

The RedZoneSports Business

This operator is owned by Argyll Entertainment and you will be thrilled to hear they are fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. That means they meet some pretty high standards. What’s more, they are associated with many reputable organisations that give you the utmost confidence in this bookie. Check our table to see what we discovered.

Although they haven’t had many massive sponsorships as of yet, they have found their way into some niche markets. They decided to sponsor some drag racing events such as TakBak racing and DoorSlammers. Although not big names, they were the first bookies to associate with such events and are clearly forward thinking in what they offer. We would like to see them get a famous name in the future, but we are encouraged by what they have done so far.

Customer Support 8

Customer support is pretty good here. They offer a live chat which is manned from 12:00 to 22:00 every day, and they are very quick to respond when you write to them. They also have a very handy FAQ section that has many of the most popular questions already answered for you. Furthermore, if that’s not enough they also have an email you can use to contact them directly, although this does take a little bit longer to get a response, as it takes around 48 hours. There is no phone number to call, which is a little disappointing, as sometimes you need that personal touch when trying to explain your needs. Even so, we were pretty happy with what was on offer here and didn’t have any major qualms.

Licensing and Security8

A very important part of trusting a bookie is to see if they are licensed and regulated. If they aren’t you shouldn’t touch them with a bargepole. There’d be nothing worse than winning a bet, only to find out you’d been had. Luckily, all of the operators featured on our site are fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. That is no different here, so rest assured you are in safe hands.

What’s more, any complaints are adjudicated by IBAS, a fair and independent organisation, meaning you will always get a fair judgement. This company also has partnerships with Gamble Aware and GAMSTOP, showing they take responsible gambling seriously. It is clear to see that this bookmaker is trustworthy to use.

Bonus Points Section4

The final section of our review is something we have invented to see if the bookmaker can really wow us. We have devised several categories with various scoring systems. Things such as Live streams, sponsorship and awards weigh heavily, and although they aren’t integral to the performance of the platform, they are really something that can really earmark the very best of the best.

  • Live Streams.0/3
  • Sponsorship.2/3
  • Awards.2/2
  • Extra Markets.1/1
  • Bonuses.1/1
  • Bonus Points.6

Although RedZone don’t have any major sponsorship partners it is clear that through the drag racing deal they have organised they are more than willing to be pioneers in the sector. What’s more they have won ‘innovative operator of the year’ and is testament to this. The markets they invest in are unique, and they are the British home of US sports. Although they don’t have a welcome bonus, they do have many other ongoing offers and rewards systems we were impressed with. All in all, 6/10 bonus points is pretty good, and when they introduce live streaming, they will fare even better.

RedZoneSports: An American Dream

Overall, we were very impressed with this innovative bookie. Our RedZoneSports review clearly highlights many of their strong points, none more than the great odds on offer, along with their fantastic American sports coverage, something that is unparalleled across the British market. What’s more impressive is they still cater to your British betting needs, with football, greyhounds, and horse racing all additionally well-covered. It means that this is a well-rounded sportsbook that every punter can enjoy.

Strenghts and Weaknesses of RedZoneSports

Red Zone Sports Casino are a sportsbook, casino and live casino operator owned and operated by Argyll Entertainment AG. They cater to British based fans of American sports such as baseball and American football. They are licensed in the United Kingdom by the UKGC – they use IBAS as their alternative dispute resolution service. They provide a range of games from: NetEntertainment, Microgaming, iSoftBet, Play ‘N Go and Evolution Gaming. Their site is the typical minimalist sportsbook design relying on colours rather than images for brand development.  In this case Red Zone Sports has built their site around the colour palette of the red, white and blue of the American flag with the addition of black and grey to anchor the scheme. Their logo is their name in red, white and blue.

3 / 10

Red Zone Sports are operated by Argyll Entertainment AG. This company has been non-responsive to complaints submitted to this service. As such all operators owned by this company hold Not Recommended status.

Below we highlight the terms that players should be aware of when playing with Argyll Entertainment AG run properties.

Red Zone Sports institute a predatory dormancy policy as per Term 11.2: "If an Account is dormant for six (6) months or longer, the Operator reserves the right to levy a monthly administration charge for maintenance of the Account and offset such charges against the balance remaining in the Account. If the Account remains inactive for twelve (12) months or longer, the Operator reserves the right to close the Account and to deal with any funds then remaining in the Account at the Operator’s absolute discretion." 11/10/2018 In the first instance, if a dormancy charge is being applied customers are entitled to know what this fee is before they decide whether or not to accept the operator's Terms and Conditions; in the second instance dormancy should never be used as an excuse to seize positive balances and Sports Nation's Term implies that they are likely to do just that if they decide at their "absolute discretion" to do so. This is predatory and again results in an automatic Not Recommended status at ThePOGG.

Payout Speed: 7 days

3 / 10

Red Zone Sports state that withdrawals take 3-5 working days to process therefore weekends have been included in our payout speed calculation.

Maximum Withdrawal - As per the Trustworthiness section the operator can decide this at their discretion.

Minimum Withdrawal - £10.

Banking options available - Credit/Debit cards

We recommend using Neteller for speed, convenience and security.

Email Testing Record

Customer Support did respond within the 10/10 category for this section of our review - but they absolutely failed to answer our question (which could in no way have been misinterpreted) and therefore their response was useless. Rather than score them 0 which would be justified - we have reduced their score by 50% to reflect the less than competent nature of their response.

Red Zone Sports Casino hold the following gambling licenses:

United Kingdom Gambling Commission - The UKGC are widely considered to be the most reputable regulators involved in the online gambling market. They do not manage complaints for players directly, instead requiring their operators to appoint a UKGC accredited Alternative Dispute Resolution service. As such the value of this license for players depends largely on the professionalism of the ADR service utilised. Red Zone Sports Casino currently use IBAS.

Full RedZoneSports Bookmaker Review

Who Are RedZone Sports?

Red Zone sports mission is to bring American Razzmatazz to British betting.

Alongside this razzmatazz, redzone sports bring us great margins on US Sports.

If betting on Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey or  NFL then redzone should be on your radar.

They are so confident that they say " If you choose to bet on NFL elsewhere, Good Luck to you!"

If you still wish to compare NFL bookies pay a visit to our Best Bookmakers For NFL Betting.

Joining RedZone Sports

Once you have registered with RedZone Sports and you are ready to start betting on the website or app you will go straight the redzone home page.

The redzone colour scheme is dark blue with prices in red, it gives a feel of a vibrant sports book at the cutting edge of betting, especially I thought when betting in the evening.

This home page features vertical and horizontal indexes with the US Sports of Basketball, Baseball and NFL to the fore.

You will notice redzone sports has a definite US sports bias, but still offer all the sports we know and love in the UK.

In total there are 33 sports to bet on including hundreds of in-play markets. This compares very favourably with similar size bookies.

If you mix between the EPL football and NFL football redzone sports will be a perfect choice.

RedZone Sports Casino

RedZone sports do not ignore those of you who love Casino slots and table games.

Live dealers bring you all the excitement of casino play.

Redzone Sports Member Review

Long term olbg member insideman added this review of redzone sports:

“They say they specialize in US Sports and that is what they focus on or at least like to say they do. The thing is they have lots of other sports you can bet on like football, racing and they are offering odds on racing the night before so there could be some nice value there to be had in the overnight racing markets.”

Redzone Sports Review Summary

  • Best for European fans of US Sports.
  • Well laid out sportsbook.
  • Rewards programme.

Redzone Sports bring you a polished impressive sportsbook. They have obviously studied more established UK bookies and tried to bring the punter more value, they are doing a very good job.

Going live as a licenced UK operator in 2017, RedZoneSports is now flying the flag for US sports in the UK. Despite branding itself as the British home of American sports, there’s a lot more to this site than red, white and blue stripes. In this RedZoneSports review, we’ve picked out its top features, including the fast bet system, and analysed some areas where it could improve to help you decide if this is the best platform for you.

Safety and Trustworthiness

Having previously been operational globally except the UK, RedZoneSports is now a part of the British betting scene after completing the necessary steps to get a UK gambling commission licence. On top of this, the company is registered with the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS), ensuring you get a fair service in the event of a dispute. With the seal of approval from these two betting organisations, we are confident in deeming RedZoneSports a trustworthy betting site for UK customers.

Satisfying the regulators is one thing, but convincing the community that you’re a good place to bet is another. Even though the UKGC demands operators have certain security features in place, such as SSL, segregated accounts for player funds and ID checks (all of which RedZoneSports has), service is also important. In our research we found that punters who used RedZone were, by and large, happy with the site. One customer at OLBG praised the selection of odds at RedZoneSports but did suggest that the bonus conditions were a little harsh. Another issue some reviewers seemed to have was the time-restricted support service. Unlike many of the major sports betting sites that offer 24/7 customer support, RedZoneSports live chat team are only online  12pm to  10pm Monday to Sunday.

Overall, we didn’t find any major issues with RedZoneSports. Yes, it’s only been active since 2017, which means there hasn’t been much time for it to experience any catastrophic incidents. New betting sites often experience teething troubles, but it seems RedZoneSports is building up a fanbase without any major issues.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Moving your money into and out of RedZoneSports is simple, if not a little restrictive. When you join one of the more established online betting sites, such as Betfair or Betway, you’ll get to choose between a variety of card, eWallet and pre-paid card payment methods. At RedZoneSports, the only option you’ll have is a credit or debit card.  Offering one type of payment option is poor given that almost every major site in the UK has multiple methods available. Still, payment options on new betting sites normally get ramped up over the first year so we expect to see a longer list of options by the end of ’18

RedZoneSports doesn’t currently offer a mobile betting app which is disappointing, but you can still bet on the move thanks to RedZoneSports’ mobile optimised desktop site. By engineering the software to scale down and work on any mobile, the team at RedZoneSports has made their product truly flexible. It doesn’t matter what type of mobile you own, RedZoneSports will work. You’ll get access to the same selection of betting markets, deposit options and promotions you’d find on the desktop site. So, even though an app would be nice, it’s not the end of the world in this situation.

Bet Offers

New punters can get a matched deposit bonus offer of up to £200 when by signing-up and entering the bonus code: RZ200. Based on a 40% multiplier, this welcome reward is more like a traditional online casino bonus than the more common free bets bonus. For example, if you joined Betway Sports using our sign-up link, you’d get £30 free when you deposited and wagered £10. Similarly, at Bwin, you’ll get a £10 rebate as a new customer if your initial bet loses. Essentially, sports betting bonuses usually follow the “you wager £XX and you’ll receive £YY in return” format. However, at RedZoneSports, all you have to do is make a deposit. What’s more, the size of your prize is based on a multiplier which, again, is something you’ll find in the online casino sector.

In terms of the wagering conditions, you’ll have to deposit at least £20 to activate the bonus. Once you’ve received your funds, the play-through is 7X the deposit and bonus amount. Additionally, all bets made must have minimum odds of 2.00 (1/1). Assuming you can hit the wagering target within 30 days, you can withdraw any bonus funds and winnings you’ve got in your account.

Because RedZone Sports’ welcome bonus is set-up a little differently to the norm, it’s hard to compare like for like. However, what we will say is that 7X is somewhere in the middle when it comes to easeof clearing. It’s not low, but neither is it so high that you’re going to go bust trying to hit it. In our opinion, this deal will suite high rollers because you get a lot in return for your deposit but you will have to commit some time and money to clearing it.

25/1 on any team to win the superbowl Code: RZNFL25

Your first deposit must be between £20 and £500. On successfully making your first deposit, you will receive bonus funds equal to 40% of your deposit amount. The maximum value of bonus funds available is £200.

Betting Markets And Odds Quality

RedZoneSports brands itself as the British home of American sports betting. With this in mind, it’s hardly surprising that US sports dominate the lobby. From American football and basketball to US horseracing, baseball and every major sporting event taking place in America, RedZoneSports has it all. Of course, being a licensed operator in the UK means that other sports are also available. Football (known as soccer across the site) is obviously a big player in the market as is horse racing. Beyond these staples, niche sports such as snooker and pool are backed by markets covering floorball, trotting, MMA and eSports. Overall, the spread inside RedZoneSports is impressive. In fact, with 41 different options to choose from, you’ll get more choice here than you will at many of the bigger brands, including BetStars.

What’s also impressive about the roster of options at RedZoneSports is the price boosts. Along with a cashout option that allows you to call time on a bet early and receive a payout, the daily odds boosts help you get more for your money. Unsurprisingly, many of the best boosts are applied to American sports. However, you will find that soccer is often up there as a main focus for the odds makers. Yes, many top operators do have their own boosts, but one thing we noticed about RedZoneSports was the number of daily options. During our RedZoneSports review, golf alone had 14 boosts which, for us, is impressive. So, if you’re looking for better prices than the average online betting site, RedZoneSports is certainly up there with the best of them when it comes to options.

In-Play Betting

Like all the best online sports betting sites in the UK, RedZoneSports offers in-play betting. Covering not only the major sports but those that often get overlooked, the odds makers are constantly working to bring you live prices at the touch of a button. In fact, the thing we really liked about this platform’s in-play betting provisions was the “fast bet” option. Alongside visual representations of the action and live stats, you can use the fast bet markets to compete your transaction in three clicks. Put simply, when you see a lightning bolt symbol next to some odds, it means you can make three moves to confirm your pick:

  1. Click the price.
  2. Set the number of bets (i.e. one bet is equal to a £1 stake).
  3. Click “place bets”.

Because you don’t have to worry about typing in the size of your stake, the process literally takes no more than five seconds. In a world were seconds count, that’s impressive and, for us, one of the reasons the in-play lobby at RedZoneSports stands out.

Ssome customers have taken issue with the site’s customer service policies. Instead of a 24/7 service, you’ll typically wait 48 hours for an email ( reply or you’ll have to contact a live support agent between 12pm and 10pm. Although there is help available, it may not always be there when you need it another thing for RedZoneSports to work on.

Review Summary

As a newbie to the online sports betting world, RedZoneSports has found a way to carve out a niche in an otherwise crowded market. Fans of US sports will obviously find a home here but there’s a lot more on offer than that. The roster of betting markets is extensive and the fast bet provisions make everything quicker and slicker. There are some big shortcomings at Red Zone Sports – lack on an app and depositing options being the main ones –  but that’s to be expected from a site that only launched in 2017. RedZoneSports has lots of potential and in time could make its way into the tier B betting sites alongside 10Bet and 888Sport. For the time being we’re giving it 7/10, but we’ll be watching it closely to see how the brand progresses.

Your first deposit must be between £20 and £500. On successfully making your first deposit, you will receive bonus funds equal to 40% of your deposit amount. The maximum value of bonus funds available is £200.

RedZoneSports came onto the online betting scene in 2017 and has endured some great success since its arrival on the scene. Since then, the betting site has created its own unique betting app.

The RedZone betting site was launched first as a desktop version and soon after that, they then launched their mobile app which is free to download and is available on all iOS  devices.

RedZone is part of Argyll Entertainment Ag and is regulated and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. It was recently announced that RedZone was announced as innovative operator of the year by EGR. In this review, we will be looking to see how the RedZoneSports app compares to the other top betting apps on the market.

App Features:

The RedZoneSports app is still fairly new, having only been around for just over a year. However,  in such a short space of time, it is clear to see that the developers have managed to make an app which looks professional, well established and something that can easily compete with the pioneers of the online betting app industry. This app features both a casino and a sportsbook with plenty of markets for the user to choose from.

In terms of the casino, there really is so much available. Some of the most popular markets in the casino are Blackjack, Poker and Roulette.

On the other hand, the sportsbook side of things really is tremendous and if you are a fan of sports betting you will be sure to enjoy the RedZoneSports app. There are many features such as:

  • in-play/live betting
  • accumulators
  • first goal scorer bets

and plenty more, which can all be found on the app.

When it comes to the appearance of the app, it’s even more impressive. The RedZoneSports app features the company’s main branding colours of blue, red and white, which give it a sporty look and really is quite unique. It’s cold, daring and looks really good. As well as this there is a huge range of promotions and offers available on the app, which are all displayed on the home page. If the colour scheme doesn’t then this will surely catch the attention of the punter.

To round off this mobile app review of RedZone, we will start off with all of the positives. First of all, we have to say that the layout and design of the RedZone app is really good, attractive and easy to use, it is laid out nicely and little lag. It is easy to navigate and simple to use. Another great feature is the number of sports that are available as well as the markets in terms of betting and also the Casino markets too. If we were to suggest an improvement for the RedZone app then I would say that more promotions and offers should be made available to punters. We’d also like to see the addition of an app designed for Android as well.

Not heard of the newcomers to the market? Then check out our RedZoneSports review. Our RedZoneSports bet review will give you the low down of everything you need to know of this new and exciting betting site, founded only in 2016.

Pros and cons

  • Excellent Coverage Of American Sports.
  • 50% First Deposit Match Up To £100
  • £5 Minimum Deposit
  • No Live Streams
  • No E-Wallet Support

Just a quick glance at the seemingly endless list of sports on the homepage’s sidebar will let you know how extensive Redzone Sports’ selection of sports is. As American sport specialists, they offer excellent coverage of American Football, Baseball and Basketball, but these aren’t limited to the major American Leagues. There are basketball markets available for well over 10 countries, and even coverage of Japanese baseball, so you’ll have no problem filling out your betslip. A deeper dive into each American sport will reveal almost 50 markets per event – some of the best coverage you’ll find in the UK.

If you’re not into American sports, Redzone Sports offer impressive coverage of UK favourites as well. Tennis and horseracing followers will find there’s plenty to like here, and for football fans, a look at the upcoming gameweek in the Premier League will reveal up to 100 markets per game, including standard money line and scoreline bets, as well as less common ‘to win from behind’ and ‘own goal’ markets.

Live Betting & Streaming

A quick link at the top of all RedZone Sports’ pages means that Live Betting is always just one click away. The live overview presents you with time elapsed, scorelines and money line odds for various live events. Much like the list of sports on the home page, you’ll have to scroll through a series of drop-down menus to find the game you’re looking for, but this barely detracts from the live betting experience on offer here.

The amount of live markets available for sports such as football is impressive, with up to 90 markets being offered for the more popular events.

The overall live betting experience is good, but with the absence of live streams to watch the action unfold, there is definitely room for improvement.

A quick look through the sportsbook will reveal most of Redzone Sports odds allow them to compete with the biggest brands and provide you with excellent value! Almost all of the UK’s bookmakers follow the line set by Vegas, but Redzone Sports believe in creating their own lines and odds for U.S. sports, and they’re prepared to back that up by having super-sized limits for all their customers.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any enhanced odds on offer, but with such a large number of sports to choose from, and fairly competitive odds, we think you’ll have no problem getting some great odds on your betslip.

App Review

Redzone Sports do not currently have a mobile app.

Welcome Bonus

Bettors are usually attracted by the triple figure welcome bonuses offered by the biggest sportsbooks in the industry, but Redzone Sports have thrown their name into the mix with their generous welcome bonus.

New customers can benefit from a 50% deposit match up to £100. So if you deposit £200, you will get £100 extra in bonus funds. Your first deposit must be between £20 and £200. There is a wagering requirement of 7x to play through before you can withdraw any funds won using your bonus. This means that you will have to place a bet, or a series of bets equal to the combined value of seven times your deposit amount and bonus funds received. Any bet (excluding system bets) placed at minimum odds of 2.00 contribute to the wagering requirement. You will have 30 days to meet the requirements before your bonus expires.

Redzone Sports currently only offer a new customer promotion. Keep an eye on their promotions section though – as a new sportsbook, there are sure to be plenty of new features and promotions to entice bettors in the near future.

Redzone Sports only offer three of the more traditional payment methods – Debit cards and Bank Transfer. So if you’re looking to use an e-wallet such as PayPal to make a deposit, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

If this isn’t an issue for you, you’ll find the minimum deposit of £5 is fairly low, perfect for those of you who want to join in the fun with smaller stakes. The withdrawal times for all payment methods are 3-5 working days, similar to most other bookies.

You can pay by:

Bank Transfer, Mastercard, Visa

You can withdraw by:

Bank Transfer , Mastercard , Visa

If you’re looking for a place to bet on American sports, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better option than Redzone Sports. Their coverage of other major sports is just as impressive, with a good number of markets for football and tennis. Their generous welcome bonus and fairly competitive odds compensate for the lack of promotions for exisiting customers. There’s plenty to like here whether you’re a seasoned U.S. sports veteran or a total newbie, and, all things considered, we think it’s safe to say Redzone Sports have crossed the goal line with their sportsbook.

RedZone opened their doors back in 2017. The company's goal was to offer an online sportsbook that was centred around US-based sports such as American football, basketball and baseball, whilst still being able to cover the usual suspects.

The company behind the brand are that of Argyll entertainment AG, who also power several other gambling products including Sport Nation who were formerly Bet On Brazil.

Part of the goal for the company was not to spread themselves too thinly, which is why they solely concentrate on players within the UK and Ireland. As a result, they hold a full gambling license from the UK Gambling Commission through Argyll Entertainment.

The registration process at RedZone is broken down into three parts.

The first will require you to enter a series of personal information. This includes things like gender, name, DOB and email. Make sure that this is an email account you have access to as you will need to verify this later on.

The next step is contact information. This is your country, mobile number and address. Again, you need to make sure this is correct as it will need to be verified later in the process.

The third part is the account information. For this, you need to come up with a username and password, along with odds style, currency and any deposit limits you want to apply.

After these three steps are complete, you then need to verify your account to make a deposit. For this, you will need to upload documents such as driver's license, passport, utility bill etc. This is now a process that pretty much all bookmakers require to hit responsible gambling targets. It may mean that registration takes a little longer but trust us when we say that this is a good thing long term and we can only commend RedZone Sports for implementing this so soon.

Payments and Banking Methods

Banking is fairly limited at RedZone if we are being honest. There are just 4 methods that you can access – Debit Card, Trustly and Boku. Unfortunately, PayPal, one of the more popular deposit and withdrawal methods, is not available

Minimum deposits for all methods start from just £10 and the minimum withdrawal is that of £20. There are no fees in place for any transaction and the maximum that you can deposit at one time is £20,000.

Even though the range of banking methods are a little less than you might see from some of the bigger brands, as there are so few, it means that processing times are super-quick. They state the standard 2-5 working days, but we have had withdrawals back to debit cards hit our account within just a few hours.

Desktop/Mobile Experience

You get a solid looking design with RedZone, if a little familiar. The reason behind this is that they are powered by what looks to be an SB Tech engine. For those that don't know, SB Tech is one of the leading sportsbook design options and are used by a decent number of bookmakers in the industry already.

The sites pretty simple to use and if you're new, then it won't take a long time to work out how things work. We loved the inclusion of the search bar and unlike most, this one works!

There is no dedicated app to download for mobile devices, but the HTML5 platform means that it's highly versatile and works great with pretty much all screen sizes. We would go as far as saying that the design looks a little more polished on mobile than desktop and we can see why many choose to use this as their preferred method.

A downside to the lack of a downloadable app means that there is no Touch ID or Face ID features for log in. However, it's really simple to use and we don't think that the lack of features here deters from the overall experience.

Sports and Markets Available at RedZone Sports

As we pointed out at the top of the article, RedZone is keen to try and bring the US-based sports to the UK. They have a strong range of markets for American football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey as a result.

We must admit, they cover all these sports better than pretty much any bookmaker we've tested. The American football games, for example, have over 70 markets per game. They also include games from Canada and even college matches as well. Although, coverage drops off a little for the latter two, which is to be expected.

Outside of the US-based sports, coverage is still good. Football (soccer) and tennis are the two standouts and with each, they cover a huge range of leagues and tournaments. Horse racing has decent set of markets and races as well, although this is lacking compared to some of the bigger bookmakers for racing outside of the UK and Ireland. Beyond these, Rugby, Golf, Cricket, Boxing and E-Sports are available, among others.

Betting Odds with RedZone Sports

The pricing at RedZone is a little erratic if we are being honest. This is not necessarily a bad thing though, but if you're looking for consistently good odds, then these guys might not be your best pick.

We did like the enhanced odds section that they include on the site. This is updated daily and includes a handful of bets that are boosted around 20% or so. This boost is often enough to make them pretty much best priced in the industry, so it's well worth checking out.

Betting Features

We've spoken a couple of times already about the coverage of the US-based sports but for us, it's probably the standout feature on the site. We just so happen to be mid-season in the NFL as we write this review and the whole site is buzzing on the back of it.

They have a great range of markets to bet on here, which are split between the general bets, halves, quarters and then player bets as well. All games, including college and Canadian matches, will turn in-play as well. This then triggers the in-play match centre and you can follow the game as it takes places whilst also keeping an eye on the odds for each market below.

Cash-out betting has been a popular addition since that came in to play at RedZone. It works as part of the betting slip, which is fixed on the right-hand side of the page. The bet slip is a little large, although it's really clear and if you were new to betting, it highlights the different types, stakes and the amount you can expect back if it wins.

The in-play section allows for a feature called “fast markets”. These let the punter place a bet instantly when betting in-play and removes the 2-5 second delay that is usually applied to these types of bets. If you're a punter that works instinctively as you watch games, you're going to benefit massively from this.

We also enjoyed that you could favourite certain games and even markets within games to bring them to the top. The in-play section can get very busy when there are lots of matches taking place across the dozens of sports that they offer, so this is a handy feature indeed.

As a final “feature” on-site, at the top of a page is a small menu bar. In that bar includes things like your username, account info, messages, balance and open bets. The open bets section is a super-quick way to track what bets you've placed and what's live. You can also use the balance section to check on any promotions or free bets that you have at your disposal as well.

Current Promotions

Promotions at RedZone could be another “feature” and they change constantly. Here's a look at some of the longer-running ones you can take advantage of.

Win in 5 minutes – Place a pre-match bet on the 1x2 market (must be home or away win) and if your team scores within the first 5 minutes, the bet will be paid as a winner.

Best Odds Guaranteed – Back a horse at any of the selected meetings on the RedZone bookmaker and if the Starting Price is higher than your price and the horse wins, you will be paid the higher Starting Price.

Glory Goals – Place a £10 bet on one of the selected football matches on the bookmaker and after 30 minutes you will be given 10 free spins to use at their casino on the Starburst slot.

Customer Support

For such a small bookmaker, the support on-site is impressive. They state there is an average wait time of 3 minutes for their live chat, but we got in instantly each time we tested them out. Responses were prompt and accurate, and just generally seemed to know what was going on. Outside of Live Chat, email is also available, with an average response time of 48 hours at the time of review.

Responsible Gambling Features

RedZone is already registered with GamStop and even though this will eventually be compulsory, it's good to see that they have voluntarily taken the leap to implement before they are forced to.

It's clear that they have been keen to get processes in quickly for registrations and you can't deposit unless you have verified your account. They also give you options to limit accounts, have time outs and set alarms for time on site as well.

Our Verdict

We think it's fair to say that RedZone is on the smaller side compared to some. But they've carved a niche out for themselves in the form of US-based sports where they massively excel. They may be small, but there are few with the coverage of leagues like the NFL, NBA and NHL that get anywhere near RedZone and we are happy to recommend them as a result. Their awesome welcome offer just sweetens the deal!
