The MrGreen website is very easy to use, and dare I say it, fun! Full of interactive features, help settings and simple navigation processes, it’s one of the easiest bookmaker sites to use that this writer has used.

Currently, the home page is very much casino and games based, with a huge list of games taking up the majority of the page. To access the sportsbook, click on Sports on the top left of the screen. The main image usually offers details of that day’s/weekend’s best offer(s) with a list of the most popular sports to bet on at that time being displayed under this.

To access the full list of sports that MrGreen is offering odds on, click on All Sports. This will lead you to an A-Z list of every sport covered.

Your account information is found on the top right of the screen, along with the Help menu. Also on this top row you’ll find an image of a bell, which will alert you to new notifications associated with your account.

Placing a bet is also a simple process. Click on the sport you wish to bet on, then the event in which you’d like to stake. Find your desired market, and when you click on it your betting slip will automatically appear on the right of your screen. If you wish to change the format in which the odds are displayed, this option is always available on your betting screen.

A handy tool to help you with your in-play betting.

12. Verdict

Despite being relatively new to the Sportsbook scene, MrGreen have started incredible well. With a huge range of betting markets available with competitive odds and a variety of specials and promotions, creating a MrGreen account is definitely worth your while!

Mr Green was established in 2008 and is now operated by Mr Green Limited, a company that is registered under the jurisdiction of the UK and Malta. For UK punters they have the legal means to offer real money sports betting, through their UK Gambling Commission licence.

Their primary offering is the casino, which is known as one of the best destinations to enjoy online casino games. However, some of this excellence is also evident in the sports betting they offer as you’ll find out in this Mr Green sportsbook review. The sleek branding of the casino site is translated seamlessly to the sports, and for a sportsbook that was only established in 2016, we’re pretty impressed. In this Mr Green review you’ll see that there are plenty of reasons such as the Mr Green bonus to give this bookie a try. It might not compete with the best online bookmakers yet, but it does have some attractive values.

The result of the OpenOdds Mr Green review

The different advantages of the Mr Green sportsbook should be considered when deciding if this bookmaker is worth a try. One of the advantages is the quality of the Mr Green bonus. You get a £10 matched acca bet which is a nice way to get started. Also, the selection of sports to bet on and the odds you get are great. You won’t be disappointed by what’s on offer at Mr Green. The final advantage we’ll mention is that the interface is easy to use – even for newcomers.

The disadvantages are that there is a limited selection in the “other products” category. Only casino games are offered in addition to sports betting. Also in-play betting could do with a streaming service.
Overall, OpenOdds feels that the Mr Green rating should be 89 out of 100. This represents the fact that this bookmaker has great overall features, but is not one of the best ones out there yet. So give this bookmaker a try and you can take advantage of their £10 acca bet bonus welcome offer.

Erfahrungen mit Mr. Green: A great new bookie

Mr Green sportsbook review: OpenOdds’ detailed rating report regarding this top bookmaker

In this section of the review we’ll be examining the Mr Green bookmaker in 10 different categories. Hopefully by the end of this section you’ll be able to figure out if this bookmaker is one that matches your requirements.

01.Bonuses:What kind of Mr Green bonus is on offer?

Mr Green's Bonus Program9/10 Punkte

  • 100% matched acca bet up to £10
  • Minimum deposit of £10
  • Qualifying bets on odds of 4.00 or more
  • Extra bets to be used on accas with three or more selections
  • Bonus betting funds expire after seven days

Is one of your main points of interest the quality of the welcome bonus that you receive upon arrival? If so then you’ll be pleased with what is on offer at Mr Green. The Mr Green bonus is a great way for new customers to get a little more from their first sports bets on the site.

The bonus can only be claimed by new customers who made an opening deposit of £10 or more with any payment method other than Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard or MoneyBookers, and then you will need to make some qualifying bets. This means having to wager £10 or more on any sports betting odds of 4.00 or higher. If you manage to do this, then Mr Green will give you £10 extra bets that you have to use on an accumulator bet with at least three selections. The extra betting funds will only last for seven days. T&C apply, 18+.  Other bookmakers don’t put such strict conditions on accessing the bonus offer. For if this offer isn’t for you then check out our rundown of the best free bets offers to see what else is out there.

02.Customer services:Three ways to get in touch

Mr Green's Customer Services10/10 Punkte

  • Comprehensive FAQ section
  • Professional, helpful team
  • Live chat, e-mail and phone support
  • Get responsive help with your sports bets

Is Mr Green safe? Can you efficiently make a deposit at this bookmaker? Questions such as these can be answered by the professional Mr Green customer service team. You can quickly access the department simply by clicking on the question mark on the right hand side of your page.

You have the option to take a look at the FAQ section. This is always a good first option, as it’s pretty likely that the answer to your query will already be there. There is comprehensive information available on a range of topics. This will save you a lot of time, and you’ll maybe even find more than you were looking for.
If your query isn’t resolved by the FAQs, or it is specific to your account, then the other customer service options are of a similarly high standard. There is a live chat option that can be used to speak to an agent without leaving your screen. Alternatively you can give Mr Green a call on +44 20 71979541 or send them an email at

03.Sports covered:a lot of options

Mr Green's Sports Coverage8/10 Punkte

  • Plenty of diverse sports
  • Traditional favourites are covered
  • Broad scope from chess to ice hockey
  • Entertainment industries also covered
  • Something for everyone

If you like diversity in your online sports betting then you’ll be happy with what is on offer at Mr Green. The sports on offer include: American Football, Australian Rules, bandy, baseball, basketball, boxing, chess, cricket, cycling, darts, esports, floorball, football, futsal, golf, handball, horse racing, ice hockey, motorsport, Mr Green specials, non-sport, pesapallo, politics, rugby league, rugby union, snooker, surfing, tennis, trotting, UFC/ MMA, volleyball, winter sports, WWE, and yachting. That’s a pretty comprehensive range, and we appreciate that Mr Green has decided to immediately offer such a broad selection of sports. Almost everyone will be able to find something they like at this site.

04.Payment methods:a decent amount of options on offer

Mr Green's Payment Methods8/10 Punkte

  • Traditional methods covered
  • Maestro, MasterCard, VISA and VISA Electron
  • Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard also supported
  • Safe and easy ways to deposit

Not being able to pay with your desired method can be frustrating when signing up to a new bookmaker. The methods you can use at Mr Green include Maestro, MasterCard, VISA, VISA Electron, Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard. This range isn’t the biggest out there, but it does cover most of the big names. Some obvious omissions are ewallets such as PayPal, which many people like to use for online gambling, so there is room for improvement. However given that most UK customers will prefer to use a credit or debit card this isn’t cause for a low Mr Green rating in this category.
In terms of minimum deposits, this will depend on the method chosen, and will be either £5 or £10. Mr Green allows every customer to make 1 no-fee withdrawal per week. Additional withdrawals will be charged so keep this in mind!

05.Security:A secure betting environment

How safe is Mr Green?10/10 Punkte

  • Licensed and regulated by UKGC
  • Strict standards are to be met
  • Encryption protocols in place
  • Committed to responsible gambling

Is Mr Green safe? The security of Mr Green or any other bookmaker you arrive at for the first time should be your top priority. As can be seen in the footer of the website, Mr Green is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. In order to comply with the conditions of this license Mr Green has to meet strict standards for the protection of customers’ details and money.
The encryption protocols used to keep your data safe are industry standard and can be trusted. Mr Green is truly a professionally created sports betting environment. They have a commitment to responsible gambling and provide direct links to GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous for any customers who feel they may have a problem.

06.Betting odds: Top dog for low-margin betting

How good are Mr Green's odds?9/10 Punkte

  • Competitive odds
  • Standard across all sports is high
  • Always receive quality betting standards
  • Main focus on the casino

Overall, the odds at Mr Green’s sportsbook are competitive when compared to the rest of the industry. They don’t particularly stand out in any one sport, but the standard offered is consistently high. That perhaps is an advantage of Mr Green because they stay consistent with the quality of their odds across many different sports and betting markets. Other providers can vary across their sportsbook, and you can end up making bets at bad odds because you’ve been convinced by the odds in other markets.

If you bet as a side hobby to make money, or as a professional then you’ll enjoy the great odds at Mr Green. By making use of good quality betting strategies the house edge can be reduced to only 1%. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of odds on offer, considering that this bookie only started offering sports bets in 2016, and that the company itself is mainly a casino.

07.User-friendliness:one of the best websites in the sports betting industry

How easy is Mr Green to use?8/10 Punkte

  • Quality of the site is fantastic
  • Casino shown as forefront
  • Easily navigate to the sportsbook
  • Menus are easy to navigate and use

The quality of the user interface at Mr Green’s website is fantastic. As the name suggests the theme of the website is green and white. As might be expected, the casino is at the forefront of the website, but you can easily find the sports betting section from the tabs at the top of the page. The menu system on the sports betting site allows you to quickly figure out where the sports are and find the specific betting market you’re after.
The help menu is on the right hand side. When you click on the question mark a menu system will pull out. On the top right hand side you can locate the various departments of the Mr Green website. We give a very high Mr Green rating in this department for the overall quality of the user interface. Other Mr Green reviews have also mentioned that the user interface is excellent. It seems that the superb Mr Green user experience has been well-translated to the sports offering.

08.In-play product: a good quality in-play product

Mr Green's Live Betting Service9/10 Punkte

  • Live betting supported
  • Not a huge range of live games
  • Most major events covered
  • No live streaming available

One of the best things to happen to sports betting in recent years is the ability to place bets as the sporting event is unfolding. To place bets on live sports at Mr Green you need to click on the “live betting” menu and a list of games matches and events taking place will come up. You’ll be able to make a bet quickly and efficiently, which is ideal as it’s a time-sensitive form of betting.

Mr Green doesn’t cover the same huge range of sports for their live betting as they do in their regular sportsbook , but they do cover most of the major ones that punters in the UK would enjoy betting on. This includes football, tennis, cricket, rugby, golf and Formula 1. At present there is no live-streaming available on Mr Green, but perhaps this will be an element that they add in the future.

09.Other products:a great casino product is on offer

What else does Mr Green have to offer?9/10 Punkte

  • Casino also offered to customers
  • Plenty of online games at hand
  • Table games when a break is needed from the sportsbook
  • Live casino also available

In addition to sports betting Mr Green also offers casino games. This is in fact the number 1 offering for Mr Green and a very competitive offering for casino game players. Fortunately, the sports welcome bonus can also be used for the casino games. In fact you get 100 free spins as part of the welcome bonus to entice you to give the casino games a try. Mr Green casino has a great reputation in the industry and offers a huge range of games with top-notch graphics and some great jackpots on offer. There is also a live casino area, where you can play various varieties of poker, blackjack, baccarat and roulette with real dealers..

10.Betting limits:limits depend on the specific sport

Mr Green's Betting Limits9/10 Punkte

  • Own limits can be set
  • Minimum wager of £0.10
  • Football winnings capped at £100 000
  • Perfect for new punters

As with most good sportsbooks and online gambling sites, Mr Green lets you set your own limits regarding deposits, so that you can keep control of the amount that you can play with in a certain period. In terms of the bookie’s own limits, however, these vary from sport to sport. The biggest football matches are subject to a limit of £100,000 which isn’t particularly high when compared to other bookies. We feel that the other limits are reasonable, however, as many sports, including Rugby Union, are subject to the same maximum. The minimum bet that you can place is just £0.10, which means those that are micro stake players will not be disappointed.

Our Verdict of Mr. Green:Decent betting option

The different 10 categories above have given us some food for thought regarding the quality of this bookie. We can begin to draw some conclusions and finally figure out if this bookie is worth making a deposit at by awarding a rating in this Mr Green review.
On the plus side the range of sports and the odds offered are of a very competitive quality. Also the user interface used to place those bets is very easy to use. You’ll have a minimal learning curve when you first arrive. A live-streaming partnership would be a good addition to the site.
OpenOdds feels that Mr Green is worth making a first deposit at, if only to take full advantage of the £10 bonus that’s on offer, and taking a look at the casino

In the sections below we’ll be reviewing each individual aspect of the betting site, including the bonus offers, the security, the quality of the platform and everything else in between. For the full report keep scrolling down the page.

An Overview of the Mr Green Betting Options

Although the operator offers a vast range of sports markets to bet on (around 37) the number of betting options available per fixture isn’t always as impressive, especially when compared with some of the more established operators in our review series. The sections below will be reviewing the Mr Green betting catalogue in full, so you can get a taste for what the operator has to offer.

Popular UK Markets

  • Football
  • Golf
  • Horses
  • Cycling Darts Fantasy Rugby Social Snooker Baseball Boxing Basketball eSports Formula 1 Handball Volleyball Cricket Tennis Ice Hockey Greyhounds Winter Sports American Football Bandy Floorball Gaelic Sports Trotting Water Polo Futsal Field Hockey Badminton Australian Rules Table Tennis Olympics

Sports Markets and Betting Types

All the most common sports markets you would expect to find in a top-ranking sportsbook are well catered for; tennis, football, horse racing and cricket, for instance, are all present, as well a number of slightly more obscure markets such as the ÖTILLÖ SWIMRUN, e-sports and chess. There’s also an impressive selection of TV & novelty markets where you can wager on who you think will win the next Nobel Prize, who will win the Time Magazine Person of the Year and whether or not you think the Pound will outperform the Euro at the end of the financial year.

The Most Popular Markets at Mr Green
Football (88) Tennis (6) Cricket (8) Rugby (10) Golf (8)
Premier League  ATP Asia Premier League Aviva Premiership European Tour
Champions League  WTA ICC World Cup(w) Six Nations PGA Tour
La Liga ATP Doubles International One Day Super Rugby  The Masters
Bundesliga Davis Cup Natwest T20 Blast The Rugby Championship The Open Championship
Serie A Fed Cup  Royal London One Day Cup Lions Tour  U.S. PGA Championship
Ligue 1  ITF Women The Ashes  Top 14 Season Bets

As far as betting options go, Mr Green do a good job of making sure all the main sports markets are well looked after. For football, for instance, punters can find well over 100 bets on the average Premier League fixture, some of which include Handicap markets, Asian Lines, and Half Time/Full Time markets. This is a good number by any standard, however when it comes to some of the other sports, the numbers are not so plentiful. Horse racing and greyhound racing markets are severely lacking, with greyhound races sometimes not made available every day. Also for tennis, golf, cricket and rugby, it is fair to say that you’ll only find an extensive range of betting markets for the most high-profile fixtures.

In-play Betting & Live Streaming

The Mr Green live betting arena boasts a slick, user-friendly platform with a fresh design and top functionality, and also some great in-play graphics that keep you right in the thick of the action when an event is taking place. Unfortunately, however, the operator does not support live streams, which is something they will have to improve if they want to be competing with the very best sportsbooks in the future.

Multiple Betting Options

Multiple betting options is an area where the operator doesn’t necessarily excel, but definitely provides a sufficient number of options so that all the slightly more experienced punters out there that like to play the numbers game are satisfied. To begin with, Mr Green only allow for a maximum of 12 selections to be added to the bet slip, which means that you’ll only be able to place accumulator bets of 12 folds. This means that multiples options such as the Lucky 15, the Lucky 31, the Trixie and the Yankee are all looked after. All your multiple betting options appear under the seperate System tab on your bet slip so that you can keep a clear track of all your bet types and see all of your potential returns displayed neatly at the bottom.

Bet & Win Limits

One area where the bookmaker reveals a slightly weaker hand is with its win limits. It must be said that we were slightly disappointed to discover that Mr Green cap their winning limits at £100,000 – this includes tier-one levels sports such as football, tennis or horse racing where you would expect the numbers to be considerably higher. When you look at other operators such as William Hill and see that their limits go as high £2,000,000 it becomes clear that Mr Green are lacking in this area and will need to make some improvements if they are to compete with the best.

Competitive Odds 7

Considering that Mr Green is relatively new to the world of online sports betting they have had a fair amount of catching up to do – especially with regard to odds levels, where the competition tends to be fierce. Fortunately, though, they’ve done well and slashed their numbers and put themselves on par with some of the more established operators in the business.

Odds Levels for the Largest Sports Markets

  • Football92.08 - 94.18%
  • Cricket90.22 - 93.98%
  • Boxing90.87 - 95.01%
  • Tennis91.05 - 93.01%
  • Ice Hockey88.10 - 92.70%
  • Rugby92.05 - 95.11%
  • Darts89.38 - 91.95%
  • USA Football88.04 - 91.66%
  • MMA/UFC93.64 - 94.98%

As can be seen in the table above, the payout prices for some of the main sports are lower than the industry leaders such as BetVictor, whose numbers for football of 93.5 – 98.0% and 95.7 – 98.0% respectively put them at the top of the leader board. However, for sports such as boxing and ice hockey Mr Green are well and truly up there. In short, there’s some really good value to be had here.

The Mr Green Platform 9

The Mr Green sportsbook platform is powered by one of the most inventive developing companies in the game in Kambi Group Plc, which naturally means that they can boast to having one of the most original, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces out there. Probably the most noticeable difference between this sportsbook and some of the others you’re perhaps more used to is the fresh, spacious layout. It is far less data-heavy than some of the more traditional sportsbooks that come with a lot more toolbars and drop-down menus that tend to make the page seem a lot more crowded. Here, only the most important betting highlights are displayed in neatly-arranged windows in the centre of the screen with some of the other betting highlights, as well as the sports markets menu, all displayed along the top.

To access the in-play arena you need only click on the Live Betting menu located next to the homepage tab. From here you’ll see all the fixtures currently underway at the top of screen and arranged by sport, with all the fixtures due to start later in the day further down the page. To reveal the full list of betting markets for a fixture click on the window showing the competitors on the left-hand side of the page and all available markets will appear in the middle part of the screen, along with the live infographic on the right hand-side. The live infographic is one of the more outstanding features of the Mr Green sportsbook and will be discussed in more detail in the Mr Green live betting review.

How to Place a Bet

After you’ve had a good look around the platform you’ll probably want to start placing a few wagers. Fortunately, the bet placement process here has been made as straight-forward as can be. All you need do to start the process is locate your desired fixture and click on the displayed odds price to the right. This will prompt your bet slip to pop up in the bottom-right corner, at which point the selection will be automatically added.

  • [1] Make Your Selection(s)Click on the odds price displayed next to your desired bet(s) to make the selection(s).
  • [2] Enter Your Stake AmountAll selections will be added to your bet slip where you can enter in the stake. Any multiple bet options will be displayed at the top.
  • [3] Confirm Your Selection(s)Once you’re happy all the selection(s) have been added and the stake is correct, hit Place Bet  to confirm the bet.

Once the selection appears on your slip the next step is to decide the amount you want to wager, type it into the stake box and then check the bet once more to make sure everything is how it should be. This is especially important when placing bets on live fixtures as the odds prices can change quickly; be sure to acknowledge the ‘Approve odds change’ notification that appears if there is a last minute fluctuation. Once you’re happy with the selection, hit the Place bet button to confirm the wager. Remember, all bets are final once they’ve been placed.

There’s also a telephone line and live chat customer support available 24/7, which is, by far, the most efficient form of support as there is a minimal wait time before you’re connected with an agent, and they tend to deal with the vast majority of issues in a fast and friendly manor.

Licensing Security & Responsible Gambling 9

As do all betting sites that want to distribute their products in the UK market, Mr Green holds a full licence with the UK Gambling Commission. This means that the operator is fully regulated and tested for fairness so that you have every guarantee you’re receiving a legitimate service. The operator also carries a signed and stamped seal of approval from IBAS, which means that you’ll be able to receive proper legal representation should a dispute arise between yourself and Mr Green, and all their random number generators are audited by GLI.

When it comes to security, you really don’t have to worry about whether or not the operator has your best interests at heart. All their online services are protected by the well-known DigiCert company, which ensures that your personal details are never at risk in falling into the wrong hands.

Disappointing Bonus Points4

Now that we come to the bonus points department, it must be said that Mr Green is somewhat lacking here. With no live streaming service to speak of there are no extra points awarded here. The same goes for sports sponsorship, where the operator has no long-standing deals worthy of special attention.

  • Live Streams.0/3
  • Sponsorship.1/3
  • Awards.1/2
  • Extra Markets.1/1
  • Bonuses.1/1
  • Bonus Points.4

Regarding awards, the operator has plenty to its name, however, the vast majority have been awarded for its outstanding services in the online casino world. The only one that we can really acknowledge here is Socially Responsible Operator of the Year, won at the 2012 EGR awards, which means that we can award 2/2 here.

For extra markets, there operator performs well, so we can award the maximum one point from one. We can also award another one point in the bonus department, seem as though there is a decent-enough welcome bonus offer and a handful of other deals available.

Conclusion – Very Solid Online Betting

After going through our testing areas and having assessed all the positive points along with the bad, we can confirm that we are extremely pleased with Mr Green’s performance. There are undoubtedly some areas where we feel the operator can improve, particularly in the live stream and betting options department. For the most part, however, they managed to perform particularly well, especially when you consider that they’ve only just launched their sportsbook in the last 12 months.

Mr Green is a sleek sports book with a strong mobile app that’s great for live sports betting. Its unique Instant Tennis betting makes the site a no-brainer for die-hard tennis fans. While the site’s bonuses and betting options aren’t quite as expansive as other sites out there, Mr Green shines in live sports betting, quality betting odds and the extensive statistics it provides for each match. The site’s Jackpot Bets also keep the dream of a huge score alive.

Sports Markets and Bet Types

One of the best parts of betting on sports online is being able to wager on every single sport imaginable. At Mr Green you can bet on anything from the UEFA Champions League to League of Legends and everything in between. All major sports such as football, basketball, soccer, hockey, golf and tennis are covered.

There is also a wide array of other sports like surfing, snooker, trotting and novelty bets like the Emmys or who will be named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.

Navigation and betting options

The most popular betting options are easily accessible on the left-hand side of the site. Using the menu to find the more niche sports can get a little confusing, but there’s a search bar up top that’ll help you bypass that if you already know what you’re looking for.

The betting options are relatively basic, but they cover the most popular bets well. For football you can bet on the match the over/under and outright. It’s similar for other sports as well and there aren’t many player-specific props or other exotics.

There are Mr Green specials available and they’ll give you options like Juventus to win and Cristiano Ronaldo to score. It’ll also have options like both teams to score and more than 5.5 cards. If you like live betting, Mr Green has good options for all the major sports too.

Live betting options

The live betting interface is clean, with no animations and the odds on the right-hand side have little arrows telling you if the odds for your respective player or team have gone up or down. There’s also a cool statistics pop-out that shows you how each team or player has performed against each in the past. It provides lots of details and trends to help you make your betting decisions and is definitely a huge perk that isn’t offered by every site.

Another innovative feature is the Instant Tennis categories. You have to stay sharp for this one though because you bet instantly point-by-point.

Bonuses and Promotions

Currently Mr Green offers a $20 free bet bonus for new players. There are a few stipulations to getting your bonus, but they’re relatively loose compared to other sites. You need to make a deposit and make a wager of $20 or more with odds of 1.80 or higher to cash it in. These offers are constantly changing though and sometimes Mr Green offers mobile specific bonuses.

Jackpot Bet Bonus

It’s not always available but sometimes Mr Green has special Jackpot Bet promotions that can result in big wins. Launched in 2018, the first Jackpot Bet promotion was for the World Cup and it gave players a shot at five separate £5 million jackpots during the World Cup. In order to win the jackpot, you had to pick the right score for eight matches. A neat feature was that you were able to cash out your profits while you simultaneously worked towards the jackpot.

These sport-specific Jackpot Bets don’t run all the time, but check during major sporting events to see if they’re available. These promotions offer a potentially huge payout for a minimal investment.

Any good sports book lets you get money in and out as conveniently as possible. Mr Green offers several deposit and withdrawal options, but you have to withdraw using the same option you deposited with.

You can deposit (and withdraw) through Visa, Mastercard, bank transfers, Interac and e-wallets like Skrill, NETELLER, Paysafe and Moneybookers. There’s a minimum deposit bonus of as little as $10, or $5 if you’re using e-wallets. You can deposit up to $10,000 maximum at a time.

Withdrawals carry a fee. Anything less than $100 carries a fee of $1. Anything over that carries a 1% fee with a maximum of $10.

Quick Deposit & Withdrawals

A neat feature is the Quick Deposit, which lets you deposit funds instantly without having to leave a game. You can get your money in fast, but any good sports book lets you take your money out quickly too. Mr Green settles bets quickly and aims to process all withdrawal requests within 24 hours. If you’re using a card, it can be up to three days to get your money. eWallets provide the fastest payouts of an hour or less.

Security and Fair Play

There’s nothing more important than making sure the sites you play on are safe. Mr Green fared pretty well when we took a closer look at its security and commitment to fair play.

Not only is Mr Green licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, the company has won several awards over the years. It won the 2017 International Gaming Award for Gaming Operator of the year and the SBC Socially Responsible Bookmaker of the Year Award in 2017.

Responsible gambling

On top of that, Mr Green has some of the most advanced self-exclusion and risk assessment tools we’ve seen. Aside from deposit limits, loss limit and self-exclusion options, Mr Green provides a customizable “Activity Check” that will give you reminders of how long you’ve been playing for.

We’re all about healthy gaming too. We love that Mr Green offers a unique personal self-assessment test that uses your individual data to create a custom risk profile. Based on this profile, you’re given recommendations on how to play more responsibly.

Customer service

If you need to contact Mr Green for responsible gaming or any other reason, you can reach out using live chat, email or by phone. During our tests we found them to be responsive and helpful.

Mobile Betting

Sometimes you’re on the road when there’s a big match with great odds. A good mobile app or website is essential for these situations and Mr Green has a solid mobile app that works on iOS and Android. In fact, the app was voted Casino App of the Year in 2016.

The app is sleek and green just like the website. At the top you have two static rows that include the account, cashier and search bar to look up sports leagues or teams. The app is very intuitive and features everything you can find on the website.

You can view your bet and transaction history easily and also set your financial limits right from your phone. Placing a bet just takes two clicks and the live betting still features all the live statistics that you can find on the desktop site.

If you’re on iOS, you can also log in with Apple’s Touch ID. Mr Green occasionally puts out some exclusive app-only offers too, so it’s definitely a good idea to check on that regularly. The mobile app is pretty seamless and feels just like the site, which is exactly what you’d want from a mobile sportsbook.

Conclusion: Mr Green a Contender in 2020

Mr Green is a modern, easy to use site that really shines when it comes it comes to live betting and Instant Tennis. The abundance of stats during live games and easy-to-place bets makes this a great choice for players who enjoy fast-paced live betting. The mobile app makes it easy to take your game on the road too, so you won’t have to miss a single point.

Mr Green is also a reliable, licensed and award-winning site that keeps your funds safe and delivers a high-quality gaming experience. The site offers pretty much every sport you can think of, but it doesn’t offer as many betting options as other competing sports betting sites. The sign up bonuses aren’t as great at Mr Green either, but the occasional Jackpot Bets are fun and have the potential for huge payouts.

If you’re looking for a solid, reliable site that offers great live betting and don’t mind small cashout fees, then Mr Green is a great option.

Mr Green is easily one of the most famed online betting companies in Europe, whose operations span a range of products including casino gambling, live dealers, keno, bingo, and online sports betting. The company was established toward the end of 2007 by several experienced experts from Sweden and launched its online casino the next year.

By the end of October 2018, Mr Green had gotten so big that rival operator William Hill extended an offer to acquire the company for the hefty sum of £242 million, an offer the management of Mr Green gracefully accepted. The betting brand has its headquarters in the picturesque resort town of Sliema in Malta. The company is publicly traded on Stockholm’s Nasdaq Stock Market and runs its betting operations under the licenses of Malta and the UK.

Mr Green introduced its sports betting product just two years ago, in the spring of 2016, but has already become a huge success among punters, especially those based in Europe. The betting operator has teamed up with the Malta-based developer Kambi for the purpose of offering its customers a personalized betting experience.

The very next year, Mr Green relaunched an improved version of its sports betting product that offered a unique in-play feature by BettorLogic and Customer Relationship Management tools, which enabled the betting operator to improve punters’ experience through extensive data analysis of their betting history.

Mr Green’s sportsbook boasts an innovative interface and a nice range of pre-match and live markets on a variety of sports including football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, and golf. The sportsbook is available on desktop and mobile, with punters having a choice from two dedicated apps for iOS and Android. In this review, we take a look at Mr Green’s sportsbook so read on to learn everything you need to know about this betting website.

Betting Markets

Mr Green’s sportsbook features a comprehensive selection of sports to bet on, with a variety of markets that cater to all preferences. Some of the most popular bet types include Each Way, Both Teams to Score, Total Goals, and Half Time but more advanced options like Trixies and Heinz bets are also available.

The most popular leagues are listed to the side for an instant access, including NHL, NFL, UFC, MMA, NBA, and NCAAF. Football is easily the sport that receives the biggest coverage, with punters having the option to bet on events from the Premier League, the Bundesliga, La Liga, Eredivisie, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga, the EFL Championship, and many more. The sportsbook also allows football fans to experiment with bets like Double Chance, Draw No Bet, 3-Way Handicap, and Asian Handicap. Outright bets are also available.

Those interested in basketball are provided with a sufficient coverage of events from the NBA and the Euro League. Tennis fans will not be disappointed by Mr Green, either, as they get to punt on games from the ATP, the WTA, the Grand Slam, the Laver Cup, the IFT and more.

Punting on less popular sports like futsal, floorball, netball, badminton, and bandy is also possible. The sportsbook even accepts wagers on politics, music, and award shows like the Oscars and the Golden Globes.

Punters who prefer horse racing have the chance to make bets on races that take place on major racecourses across Ireland, the UK, France, the US, and South Africa. Mr Green also provides a decent coverage of a variety of in-play events, offering bettors up-to-date odds and comprehensive statistics. The in-play section allows for wagers on a multitude of popular sports like football, cricket, basketball, tennis, and golf.

When you scroll toward the bottom, you can change the default fractional odds to decimal ones or moneyline odds. The sportsbook is loaded with features including live-streaming services and in-play cashouts. The website is available in 9 languages including Polish, Spanish, German, French, Swedish, and Danish.

Bonuses and Promotions

Punters seeking for more value can head over to Mr Green’s sportsbook where they will be able to find a variety of appealing promotions, including price boosts, daily racing specials, and accumulators with enhanced odds. New members are greeted with a nice welcome bonus in the form of a free bet to get them started. You can find more information about the sportsbook’s bonuses below.

Welcome Bonus

Those who are new to Mr Green’s sportsbook can claim a welcome bonus consisting of £10 granted as a free bet. To activate the bonus offer, new registrants must load a minimum of £10 into their accounts and make qualifying bets at odds of 4.0 or higher.

You can wager the amount as a single bet or make multiple bets to the value of £10 or more. Mr Green will credit you with the free money once your original bet has been settled. Qualifying punters are expected to use their free bets on accumulators that consist of three or more selections.

Be sure to put your free bet to good use as soon as you can as it remains valid only for 7 days after you receive it. Note that the promotional terms and conditions prohibit you from using the bonus on system bets such as Yankees, Heinz, Patents, and Trixies. The free bet itself is not withdrawable but you can cash out the winnings resulting from it. Deposits carried out via Skrill, Paysafe, and Neteller do not qualify for free-bet redemption.

Ongoing Bonuses and Promotions

Returning customers of Mr Green Sport can benefit from the Best Odds Guaranteed promotion that is available to those who like to punt on UK and Irish horse racing. You can recognize eligible bets by the Best Odds Guaranteed (BGO) icon that shows on the bet slip before the wagers are made. The bets must be placed on the same day as the qualifying races. Keep in mind daily racing specials and ante-post bets are excluded from this promotion. This offer is available only to customers from the UK and Ireland, however.

Existing customers will also benefit from boosted accumulators, available on matches broadcasted on television during the weekends. These are an option for football fans – they are presented with a selection of major European leagues, such as the Premier League.

In addition, the online sportsbook runs an ongoing promotion called the Mr Green Boosts, treating punters to enhanced prizes across a huge range of great markets and sports, including the Champions League, Wimbledon, and many others.

Mr Green Sport provides punters with a variety of ways to top up their accounts, including widespread payment solutions such as Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, PayPal, Skrill, Zimpler, Trustly, Paysafecard, and bank transfers. It should be noted the e-wallets by Skrill and Neteller are not available for first-time deposits but you can use them on subsequent payments.

Deposits are completed immediately but unfortunately, punters may end up paying extra when using some of the available methods. Those who decide to use Paysafecard will have to pay a processing fee of 3.9%. Deposits conducted with the rest of the listed payment solutions do not entail additional charges. You can initiate a successful payment by complying with the required deposit minimum, which is £/$/€10.

Be sure to send the documents Mr Green requires of you for verification, especially if you have already processed a first deposit. Your account may be locked when you fail to verify your identity and age within 72 hours if you are from the UK and within 14 days if you have registered from Germany.

Most payment methods the betting operator works with can be used for cashing out your sports betting winnings. The minimum withdrawal is £10 ($/€30). The bad news is that all withdrawals, no matter what method is used, are subject to internal fees but the precise amount depends on the sum you cash out.

If you request a withdrawal of up to £/$/€100, you will be charged only £/$/€1 for the money transfer. However, if your requested amounted exceeds £/$/€100, you will have 1% deducted from your withdrawal. The maximum withdrawal fee is capped at £/$/€10.

Withdrawal timeframes are different, depending on the method. E-wallet withdrawals are processed within 2 hours after they have been approved. Bank transfers and cards may take up to 5 business days. Punters from Germany should keep in mind their sports bets are subject to a tax of 5%, which is to be deducted from their requested withdrawal amounts. The sportsbook works with various currencies, including EUR, USD, GBP, NZD, NOK, and CHF.

Mobile Experience

Mr Green promises a hassle-free sports betting experience across all devices, including smartphones and tablets working on the iOS and Android operating systems. The website itself is mobile-friendly, granting bettors an instant access to a diverse range of markets and sports. The web app impresses with an elegant design and features a user-friendly interface that enables you to skip between markets with great ease.

The betting operator deserves a big thumbs-up for its dedicated mobile applications, designed for a seamless experience on iOS and Android. One look at the native apps suffices to give you an idea of why Mr Green was chosen as the Mobile Operator of the Year at the 2016 International Gaming Awards (IGA).

The Android application is not yet available for a free download at the Google Play Store but you can install it directly from the sportsbook’s website after you allow the software from unknown sources.

It pretty much replicates the experience one gets to enjoy when betting on their desktop computer. It is designed to run on smartphones and tablets that use Android 4.1 or later and gives punters access to a variety of great functionalities including a 24/7 customer support facility, the in-play markets, and a full history of previously placed bets.

The iOS app is available for a free download at the Apple App Store platform and can be installed on iPads, iPods, and iPhones that run on iOS 10.0 or later. European mobile bettors are catered to with a broad selection of languages, including English, Czech, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, German, and Polish.

Punters can take advantage of various useful features that aim at ensuring the best experience on the go possible. They can exercise a greater control over their betting activities by making use of the Green Gaming functionality. There is also an intuitive cashier facility that allows for fast and safe deposits and withdrawals to and from the mobile sportsbook. The app has been upgraded to feature the Touch ID functionality that allows bettors to log into their accounts within a split second.

Most importantly, the iOS app offers a broad selection of bets at great odds, with customers having a choice from over 70 sports. The Live Right Now feature gives you the chance to bet as the games evolve. The Mr Green Specials are also present here offering you improved odds for larger returns. You can double up your winnings through the daily Double Ups.

Licensing and Country Restrictions

Punters who join Mr Green’s sports betting community can rest assured they are making punts at a reliable sportsbook that has all the necessary licenses to back its untarnished reputation. The sportsbook is owned and managed by Mr Green Limited which has its headquarters based in Malta.

Respectively, the company has received the seal of approval of the local regulator, the Maltese Gaming Authority which oversees its operation to ensure they meet all licensing conditions. UK punters can also join the betting action thanks to the license Mr Green has gained from the UK Gambling Commission.

One thing that leaves a lasting impression is the operator’s commitment toward assisting punters to achieve a healthy betting experience and remain in control of their wagering. This is one of the few betting operators to introduce its very own responsible gambling tool, known as Green Gaming.

This is a predictive tool which Mr Green designed with the help of Sustainable Interaction. It enables punters to determine risk limits they are comfortable with. Then, the software would analyze the customer’s betting behavior on the basis of their activity and combine it with their own perception of the amount of risk they take.

Those who exhibit higher-risk behavior are prompted by the tool to choose different betting limits or quit altogether for a specific period. The tool also prevents promotional messages from being sent to punters who exhibit problematic behavior which, we must admit, is laudable.

Customers are, of course, protected by the latest encryption technologies. Mr Green Sport has also obtained a certification by DigiCert for its SSL encryption, giving punters the peace of mind that comes with knowing their payments and information is well-safeguarded.

With so many advantages, it is a shame the betting operator accepts punts from a limited number of countries. Only customers from around 30 jurisdictions are allowed to join and make real-money bets on the website. It goes without saying the sportsbook is off-limits for those who are based in the USA.

Other countries restricted from participation include Australia, Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, France, Japan, Greece, Mexico, Hungary, Turkey, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, and more. As the list is rather bulky to publish in its entirety here, we suggest you check Mr Green’s terms and conditions to see whether you can legally punt there or not.

Customer Support Service

Customer support at Mr Green Sport is available 24/7 on desktop and mobile and the great thing about it is that there are lots of avenues of contact bettors can use to reach a support advisor. You can use the live chat facility for quick assistance. You are certain to receive expert help no matter what issue or query you might have.

The support advisors act very friendly and professionally toward customers, at least in our experience. They answer back promptly when contacted via the live chat but there are several other methods of communication as well. Email assistance at ( for punters from the Great White North) is also quite efficient although it takes a bit more time to get a response. Calling on the phone is an alternative but we regret to say the line is not toll-free. The number is +44 203 510 0870.

And now for our final verdict of Mr Green Sport. The sportsbook ensures the same high levels of quality we have grown to expect from the casino arm of the operator. It sticks out with a crisp design that boasts the operator’s trademark shades of green and features an array of sports betting markets you can pick from.

But this immense diversity would have meant nothing had it not been for the great odds on offer. The two available mobile apps further improve flexibility, bringing you closer to your favorite sports and teams no matter where you are.

As good as Mr Green’s sportsbook is, it needs improvement in certain areas. There is no dedicated page for banking to show you the available payment methods. You have to sign up and open the cashier to see which your banking options are. While we are on this subject, we were surprised to see a betting operator of such high standing charge its customers on withdrawals for all available methods.

Another issue is regional availability. The sportsbook allows for registrations from an extremely limited number of countries, so most punters worldwide will not be able to benefit from the many advantages this betting product offers. That being said, with so many markets available at competitive odds and an array of great promotions, we believe Mr Green’s sports betting arm deserves to be given a chance by those who are based in a supported country.

What would your next logical step be if you started out life as an online casino and you reached lofty heights of popularity? To open a sportsbook, of course!

That’s exactly what the Mr Green online gambling site did. The casino officially launched in 2008, and now, 10 years later, it plays host to both a sports betting section and a separate area for esports betting. Now, sometimes, online casinos that choose to go in the direction of providing sports betting as well can fall off at the deep end.

This isn’t the case with the Mr Green platform so far. It seems to have nicely incorporated the sports betting section of its site to run at the same advanced level as the casino. It’s a welcome treat, and that’s why we were so excited to write a review about the sportsbook.

We have had past experience with playing the casino games at Mr Green, and we were always thoroughly impressed with its service and offerings. So, you can imagine what we thought when we understood that a sports betting section would also be opened there.

Mr Green isn’t a one-trick pony, and the sportsbook is testament to that, which is what you’ll hear about in this complete review. We’re going to be pointing out the great, the good, the bad, and the downright ridiculous (although, can anyone who is familiar with this platform really say that ridiculous is a word they’d associate with Mr Green?).

So, let’s take a closer look at this relatively new online sportsbook and see what it has available to offer up.

The Mr Green Overall Experience

The excitement that we had at the beginning of our time betting at Mr Green was not unfounded. Holding a bit of experience relating to the online casino, we knew that the sportsbook would be just as good, if not better.

It’s actually quite thrilling to see the Mr Green colors coming into view on the page as you load it up, and things just continue improving from there on out. There’s always been one word that we’ve associated with this brand – quality. The sportsbook maintains that high level of quality that we enjoy so much. This is perhaps one of its best features.

As we moved on to signing up and depositing, everything really ran very smoothly. The site accepts deposits via numerous methods, and then you can get started with placing your wagers. Mr Green hosts a wide range of sports for you to bet on, all coming with competitive market odds, too.

Something else that stood out to us about the site and enhanced our experience a lot was the withdrawal process. Mr Green is one of the speediest online gambling sites when it comes to approving and processing these. So, we can honestly say that our overall experience of betting at this sportsbook was highly positive.

What We Like About the Site

We can’t talk enough about the high-quality visuals that this sportsbook provides. It’s always been the case with Mr Green, but every time we load it up, we’re impressed by how professional it all looks. Not only that, but it brings a sense of fun along with that professionalism. First impressions are everything to us and to a lot of other people. The first impressions from Mr Green are on the hugely positive side.

When you sign up and get into the sports betting options, though, something else that stands out is the fact that Mr Green has such a strong, diverse range of sports wagering possibilities. From football and basketball through to chess and netball, there’s very little that Mr Green doesn’t have. It even has sections for politics, TV and novelty, and something known as Mr Green Specials.

With this in mind, you can pretty much guarantee that you’ll find something that takes your interest for betting on at the site. Speaking of ourselves, we were like kids in a candy shop. So many choices and everything taking our fancy. That’s never a bad thing, and Mr Green seems to know this, too.

One more thing that we’d like to draw your attention to is the fact that this sportsbook also provides a free-to-download mobile app. Now, it’s not uncommon for online sites to be compatible with mobile devices these days. In fact, it’s pretty much expected of them. But not all of them have their own apps to download.

Mr Green isn’t like the vast crowd, though, and does give you the chance to take the sports betting lobby with you on your device. The app caters to sportsbook bettors, slots players, and casino members. This way, you’ll never miss out on being able to place your favorite bets. Just open the app, and all of the same betting opportunities will be clearly on display for you to access.

What Could They Do Better?

For a site that held so much appeal for us, we have to say that we were a little bit disappointed with the welcome offer that Mr Green provides to sports bettors. Of course, any sort of welcome offer is appreciated, although we’d expect such a renowned brand to cater to us on a higher level than a £10 free Acca bet. Especially when other lesser-known platforms are offering options like £100 free or up to £50 in free bets, for example.

It’s also true to say that Mr Green would fare much better if it was open to a wider range of countries. This isn’t something that specifically affects us and probably doesn’t have much of an impact on the sportsbook for now. But wouldn’t it be better for a greater audience of people to be able to access everything that the site provides? The US is restricted from joining, as are several other countries. Adding these locations would bring something extra to the table.

Which Sports Is This Site Best Suited For?

Mr Green actually has a section of its sports navigation menu that is dedicated to the more popular options. From this, it’s clear to see that horse racing is one of the most popular sports. Having a more UK and European focus, this doesn’t come as much of a big surprise to us.

As far as the horse racing options go, there’s so much information that you can find out about the races, the jockeys, the horses, and more. Plus, the odds for horse racing games are highly competitive with the market, which is huge in the UK and Ireland especially. Therefore, if you’re looking for something to involve yourself in, Mr Green is suitable for horse racing.

Something else that stands out as being a particular prime focus for the platform is soccer. The Premier League, The Championship, Ligue 1, Supercopa, and the Scottish Premiership are all extremely popular options to access at Mr Green.

When betting on such sports options, you can access them in live betting format, too. This means that while the game is in play, you’re able to make wagers based on how the game is proceeding. The bets available include options like both teams to score, double chance, total goals, full time results, the home team to win both halves, and so on. Soccer is definitely one of the sports that we had the most fun betting on at this site.

Some of the other sports that Mr Green is suitable for include tennis, with both the ATP and WTA options being available, amongst others. Even the Mr Green Specials section is popular – mainly because it allows you to benefit from boosts on your winnings if you make a correct bet. The specials often surround soccer events but will sometimes incorporate others, especially if a popular tournament is about to take place.

Additionally, we think that you will enjoy betting on cricket and darts at this platform. The former option is available via live betting as well, giving you a more enthralling experience. Other sports that are available for betting on at Mr Green include:

  • Motor Sports
  • Basketball
  • Snooker
  • Golf
  • American Football
  • Athletics
  • Australian Rules
  • Baseball
  • Boxing
  • Chess
  • Cycling
  • Esports
  • Gaelic Sports
  • Handball
  • Ice Hockey
  • Netball
  • Rugby League
  • Rugby Union
  • Surfing
  • Table Tennis
  • WWE/Pro Wrestling
  • Winter Sports

Betting Limits

Mr Green isn’t in the business of publishing specific betting limits for its sportsbook. The likelihood behind this is because every single sport and each bet associated with such has its own maximum bet that you can place.

But when it comes to minimums, it does have something set in place. This stands at £1, regardless of the type of bet that you’re placing. This is a bit higher than some other online sportsbooks, although it’s nothing so dramatic that newcomers to the world of sports betting can’t have an enjoyable time. It’s probably the maximum type of minimum bet that we’d want to see at an online platform.

In terms of everything else, the world is sort of your oyster at Mr Green. That’s not to say that it doesn’t have maximum bet limits, because it surely does. But the only way that you’re able to find out if you’re breaching the limit is by trying to place a bet on a specific sport and finding out if the site rejects it. At this point, you should be able to see what the maximum for that type of bet is.

Alongside being able to see what the betting limit is, you’ll be shown what the potential payout from your wager will be on your betting slip. If you feel that the maximum for a specific bet is too low, you can choose not to go ahead with the wager. Alternatively, you can simply accept the maximum stake for that particular bet.

Will You Enjoy Betting at This Site?

We’d find it hard to locate anyone who didn’t have a blast while sports betting at Mr Green. We loved it from the moment that we arrived there until the moment that we left. It’s just got so much to offer up that you’ll find yourself enjoying the platform with every new wager that you place.

To add to that, even without placing any bets, the Mr Green platform is filled with intriguing additions and thrills. The depositing and withdrawing processes are swift and easy, which we’ll get to a little bit later. Plus, the site itself runs very smoothly when you’re participating in sports betting. It doesn’t lag; it doesn’t take a long time to load. Everything runs perfectly.

It’s our opinion that you’ll always be able to have a good time while sports betting at the Mr Green platform. There’s always plenty to involve yourself in, lots to catch your eye, and it’s all laid out in a perfectly-designed setup.

To put it simply – Mr Green is what many other online sportsbooks should strive to be. That is, it’s enjoyable and professional at the same time.

Bonuses and Promotions

We told you that there would be certain bad points noted in this review, and when it comes to Mr Green, the biggest one for us comes in the form of its promotions. Or rather, more specifically, its welcome bonus.

You see, Mr Green does actually have some decent sportsbook promotions on the whole, with insurance bets and Acca extras to benefit from. But it would be nicer if new players at the site were able to claim something more than what is currently available. So, we’d definitely say that there’s room for improvement with that one, Mr Green!

Welcome Bonus

So, upon signing up to the Mr Green platform, you get the chance to choose from three different welcome bonus offers. One of them caters to the casino, another to the live casino, and the third to the sportsbook. We were a lot more impressed with the two casino offers than we were with the sportsbook one, we have to say.

The sportsbook welcome offer allows you to claim a £10 Acca bet when you make your first deposit and wager a minimum of £10. This has to be a wager that has minimum odds of 3/1. Now, we’re all for receiving free bets, and even more so when they’re Acca bets. But come on…just £10? We’d like to see this doubled or even trebled to make a more satisfying newcomer welcome.

Daily Racing Specials

If there’s horse racing taking place, then Mr Green has some special offers to claim. Every day, across a selection of races occurring in the UK and Ireland, you’re able to bet on jockey specials, winning distances, enhanced place terms, price boosts, and enhanced multiples. If there’s an amendment to the result of a race, Mr Green will also pay out on both first past the post as well as the official result.

Mr Green Boosts

The boosts that this platform gives to you as a bettor gives you enhanced prices across a huge variety of markets. This means that you could benefit from a bet on a boosted first goalscorer or picking a specific tennis player to come out as the victor at Wimbledon. Generally speaking, the more popular and exciting an event is looking to be, Mr Green will most likely boost it.

Deposit Methods

Whenever you’re ready to make a deposit at Mr Green, you’ll find that the site is very much able to cater to you with a mass of payment options. And at the end of the day, we all like choices, right?

So, from credit and debit cards through to e-wallets and bank transfers, you won’t have to worry about being able to transfer money into your account. Deposits at this site are also free, meaning you won’t find any hidden charges appearing. Perhaps the best part is that the largest majority of payment methods are also instant, so you can start your sports betting straight away.

Withdrawal Methods

As far as withdrawals go, most of the same depositing methods can also be put to use for this. In fact, it’s usually the case that whichever method you choose to deposit by is also the method that your withdrawal will be sent by. If this is not a possibility, then you will have your funds sent by bank wire transfer.

Something to remember about withdrawals from Mr Green is that the site does charge a small fee for withdrawing. The maximum fee amount that you will ever have to pay stands £10 per withdrawal, but it usually works out that anything under £100 has a £1 fee and anything over that amount has a 1% fee.

Level of Customer Service

One thing that Mr Green can certainly feel proud of is its vast FAQ section. This has answers for you to read on just about all questions. But even if you aren’t able to find the information that you need there, the site has its own support team available, too.

A live chat function is operational on a 24/7 basis, giving you the quickest method of reaching out to the support team. Otherwise, you have the possibility of sending an email or calling them on the telephone.

Speaking of our own dealings with the team, we can honestly say that the agents are always very professional, friendly, and willing to help at any time. Regardless of which method you decide to use to get their help, they will always go out of their way to provide you with the information that you need.

More Than a Sportsbook

It’s not a secret that the Mr Green platform started out its life as an online casino. It’s what the brand became famous for – even going as far as to have bespoke Mr Green slot games created for players to enjoy. Speaking of the casino, it is there that you will find games on hand from several high-quality developers. These include companies like NetEnt, Microgaming, Quickspin, Yggdrasil Gaming, IGT, and multiple others.

You will have just as much of an exciting time playing the casino games on offer, which range from slots through to live dealer options and table games. Some of the titles available include Starburst, Dream Catcher, Lightning Roulette, Lost Relics, and Guns n’ Roses.

Bingo and keno sections are also accessible at the Mr Green site. So, it’s clear to see that this site is truly trying to behave as one of the best gambling havens online. It’s succeeding in being just that in many areas as well. We can’t fault Mr Green for stepping into several sectors at once.

Should You Choose Another Sportsbook?

Oh, come on. I think it’s truly obvious that we’re crazy-impressed by the Mr Green sportsbook. In that instance, why would you even have the notion of choosing an alternative platform to place bets at?

Mr Green is the place to be. You don’t need to be a genius to figure that out. From the moment you arrive there, it’s like you’ve landed at the only place that is necessary to indulge in sports betting. There’s a mass of sports available to access, and in the same moment, there’s a mass of betting options available for them.

When you add in all of the other perks of the site, like the free and instant deposits, the smoothness of the platform and its design, the ability to also access a casino and bingo section, the 24/7 support, and more, you can’t really say no to this site. In fact, we defy anyone who isn’t restricted from joining to take a walk in the opposite direction.

If you’re looking for an enticing, appealing, entertaining, and fun time during your sports betting journey, then Mr Green can fulfil all of your requirements.

Final Thoughts

We think that we’ve said all there needs to be said about the Mr Green sportsbook. It’s one of those websites that you store in your bookmarks. One of those that you visit and place some bets at but can’t resist visiting again 10 minutes later to just spend some more time there.

It’s clear that Mr Green has your comfort and entertainment as its prime focus, too. With such a high-quality website design and amazing betting options, you can’t go far wrong by joining this platform. The site blows many of its competitors out of the water, just from the first impression.

You know that if we’re as hyped up over an online sportsbook as we have been about the Mr Green offering, it has to be something special. We can’t rate it enough.

While Mr Green is still better known for their casino, the sportsbook is slowly but surely getting the attention it deserves. Available across several different versions in many languages and demographics, including England, Canada and Finland, the sportsbook gives off a very good first impression; however, it does not advertise its welcome bonuses as prominently as some others, which is either a sign of clear confidence or a lack of care. Based on the sheer and amount of effort that has clearly gone into the platform, we are presuming it is the former. But, there is only one way to find out – and that’s to ask Mr Green himself.

Registration Process

5 / 5

  • Three-step registration process
  • Account verification via phone
  • No need to include banking information yet

Even with a site as well known and as mainstream as Mr Green, people still have concerns about the registration process. Despite living in a world where transactions online are incredibly common, there’s something about online gambling which makes people think that they are in for a convoluted, headache-inducing process. Well, with our own real-life example, we’re here to show you that is not the case, while also analysing the ease of the registration process ourselves. With that in mind, let’s break this down.

The first part of your account settings simply has you inputting an e-mail, password, where you are from and checking the terms and conditions. Simple as that.

Next up, we have the verification step. This has you enter a mobile number, to which a code will be sent. Once you’ve got your 4-digit code, you’ll be asked to add it to the site to prove your identity.

Finally, you’ll have to include some personal details, such as your date of birth, name and address. You’ll also have the opportunity to choose any betting limits, something you will also be reminded of during the deposit process. This commitment to responsible gaming gets a big thumbs up from us.

Speaking of the deposit process, you’ll notice it is missing here. Deposits can instead be completed immediately afterward – a process we will discuss in a moment.

And that’s all there is to it. It’s really straightforward while maintaining players’ safety and security, so it gets top marks from us.

Deposits and Withdrawals Options

4 / 5

  • Several currencies available
  • Minimum deposit of £10
  • Easy to understand verification

We mentioned during registration that you do not need to get involved in the banking process at that stage, meaning you can check out the site before deciding to deposit funds. There’s no pressure from the site here, no aggressive push to deposit right after registering. There is just a small box with a plus sign you can use to add money when you feel like it.

The payment methods that are offered include debit card (do note that credit cards are no longer an available option for UK players), PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard. Mr Green does not take any fees. However, fees can be taken from the payment provider, but we can hardly criticise them for something that is beyond their control. An example they provide is that Paysafecard deposits come with a 3.9% fee.

Currencies accepted include EUR, GDP, CAD, NOK, SEK, DKK and USD.

The minimum deposit is £10, but as far as we can tell, no maximum is specified.

For non-UK players, the minimum withdrawal is 30 Euros. Once again, as far as we can tell, no maximum withdrawal is specified.

This isn’t particularly unusual, as often, maximum amounts actually depend on the customer’s individual account.

Withdrawal fees depend on the currency and how much you are taking out.

For instance, a withdrawal up to 100 of whichever currency you are using has a fee of 1.00 for EUR/GDP/CAD and over that, there is a 1% fee with a maximum of 10.00. The fees are only small amounts then, and we really appreciate how easily this information is laid out.

The speed of withdrawals is 1-3 days for debit card and direct bank transfer. E-wallets are not as clearly laid out, but will be made immediately available once the withdrawal is approved. Once again, they vary, and this is beyond the control of Mr Green.

The only downside for some will be a lack of cryptocurrencies, but this is probably just a reflection of Mr Green’s mainstream audience; it’s a decision, we would say, rather than a flaw.

Finally, you will need to verify your identity using a government issued photo ID, alongside proof of address from the last three months. Mr Green actually go further than this, requiring in some instances proof of income. The process is called SOW, or Source of Wealth, and exists to prevent money laundering.

And that is pretty much all you need to know about the banking options at Mr Green. With that said, we know that some people find this kind of process stressful, so we will be adding funds and documenting the process to show you what exactly you can expect.

First off, you can choose which welcome bonus you would prefer by clicking on add funds at the top of your screen – look for the plus sign next to the amount of cash. You can also choose to deposit without a bonus, which allows you to use e-wallets.

Here, you can choose how much you want to deposit; as you can see from the above image, we’ve deposited £10, which allows us to utilise the £10 Acca bet bonus.

Next, we add our card details to deposit that amount. Note: you may be asked to confirm your transaction via an SMS message after this screen.

Our account is now topped up. When we close the window, we will be able to see that the deposit button at the top has £10 in it.

We can now place a bet. We went with a low odd bet on a live Bundesliga game; it was successful, meaning we could then withdraw our winnings.

This is the confirmation that the withdrawal request has been received. It will update once approval is granted.

The entire process really is as easy as we’ve described, so we hope you can see that there is nothing to find intimidating about this process.

Welcome Offer

4 / 5

  • £10 acca bonus
  • Available to UK players
  • Excellent terms and conditions

When depositing to Mr Green, you have the freedom to choose between different welcome bonuses. The sportsbook option here is the £10 Acca bet sign up offer, which provides you with an incentive to get involved in multiple betting. Of course, its quality all depends on the terms and conditions, so let’s see if this one is really worth your while.

At a basic level, you just need to deposit and bet £10, with minimum odds of 3/1, to receive a £10 bet to use on accumulators with three or more selections.

It’s important to note that the qualifying bet does not need to be on an accumulator, only the bonus. Other factors to bear in mind are that anything made using the bet builder tool will not count, and that the promotion expires after seven days. The bonus itself cannot be used on system bets.

These are things you can expect on all these kinds of promotions, including the fact that the winning money does not include the stake, it has a strict one promotion per person rule, and e-wallet deposits are not eligible for this promotion. This is the UK welcome promotion and, therefore, is not available to users from other countries.

And that appears to be it. Really, all of this is completely standard: there’s nothing unexpected which would severely impact the quality or the value of the offer and ultimately, it represents a great way for a lot of people to try out a new way of betting without much of a downside.

We know that some people may be upset that the bonus can only be used on accumulators, and that may lower its range of appeal somewhat, but we think it’s a great way of shining a spotlight on one of our favourite ways to bet. How you feel comes down to a matter of personal preference, but there’s no doubting the value that is being offered here.

Sportsbook Promotions

4 / 5

  • Price boosts available
  • Unfortunate lack of options due to coronavirus
  • Very good reputation

Unfortunately, this part of our review comes at a rather difficult time. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, and therefore a lack of sports generally, there are no sports promotions for us to review at the time of writing (06/2020) beyond some price boosts. Obviously, this is very disappointing, but ultimately beyond the control of Mr Green.

We had a long talk with customer service and they explained that they hope to change this situation as soon as possible. They also added that their promotions are personalised to specific markets so as not to offer solely generic options, but sadly, that makes things very hard at this time. They often send promotions to customers via e-mail and SMS messages, and have a great reputation in terms of value. We can also see from the welcome bonus that would appear to be the case.

Overall though, we cannot analyse any specifics here because of the circumstances, and of course, this is not something we will hold against the bookmaker.

Pre-match Offer

4.5 / 5

  • Great selection of mainstream and left field events
  • Commitment to esports
  • Great variety of creative specials

Again, we are in a rather odd situation here due to the greatly lowered amount of sports happening at the time of writing.

However, we can see that the amount of options in terms of sports and leagues – when they are available – is absolutely vast. Not only do you have left-field options like pro wrestling and trotting, but there is also a huge amount of variety within the popular sports. You can expect dozens upon dozens of varied markets on your average football game, and this not only goes for the Premier League but across the world and in lower leagues as well.

When we talk about margins, we are actually referrring to the overround, which is the amount above 100% all the possible outcomes come to. This is the edge the bookmakers have on the user and how they consistently make money in an unpredictable business. Generally, below 110% is considered decent.

To test this, we are going to use Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha BSC as an example. Borussia Dortmund have 7/20 odds of winning, which translates to 74.1%. Their opponents, Hertha BSC, are given 13/2 odds of winning, which translates to 13.3%. Finally, a draw has odds of 4/1, which translates to 20%. Add these all together and you get 107.4%, which is well within a quality range.

One thing we noticed were the lack of sports specials. Now, this could simply be down to the current climate, but we can’t say for sure.

In terms of maximums you can bet, this actually comes down to a variety of factors. Some sports have higher limits than others, generally increasing with popularity but not as an absolute rule, as the bookmakers attempts to balance the market. This can also be impacted by your personal account and whether there are any restrictions there. The only real way of knowing in any given market is to make your bet and see if it goes through. Considering how successful this bookmaker is, very few of us should have to worry.

If any type of sport showcases the future, it is esports, and Mr Green is fully on board with the gaming revolution. Do note that, at the time of writing, there were some issues with the Street Fighter markets that were being addressed, but we do imagine that should be all solved when you are reading this.

Other games that are available include CS:GO, Call of Duty, Dota 2, League of Legends, Overwatch and Starcraft 2.

The amount of markets obviously depends on the game. For example, CS:GO had match odds, match handicap, total maps, correct map score, map betting – including things like total rounds, winning both pistol rounds and map – most kills, total kills, most clutches, any player getting an ace, round won by bomb explosion and more. That is a hugely impressive selection of submarkets.

Once again, we are going to be checking the quality of the odds. There are only two outcomes here, but the same reasoning does apply when it comes to the overround. It is worth mentioning that the margin for esports is generally higher than traditional sports. With that said, our example sees Gen.G Esports with 3/10 odds and Triumph Gaming with 23/10. This translates to 76.9% and 30.3%, making a total of 107.2%, which really is excellent for an esport. The same comments we made on maximum stakes also apply here. Great stuff all around here from Mr Green.

Other Specials (politics, weather, celebrities, etc.)

And that’s not all when it comes to the variety that is on offer. On top of all this, there are also political, TV and novelty bet markets you can choose from.

Now, we can’t tell you what you can expect here, as these markets obviously depend on what is going in the world at the time. Realistically, they could be anything. To give you some examples, though, at the time of writing, there are markets open on the US presidential elections, the weather of Midsummer Day in Finland and even the winner of Britain’s Got Talent. It’s a great way of adding an extra bit of fun to your betting buffet.

Cash Out & Bet Builder

Cash outs are available on a wide variety of events at Mr Green’s. There are no set criteria as the operator can use them as they wish, but we can say that they are very widely accessible in our experience. The only downside to this is that there is no auto or partial cash outs, which we would like to see in the future.

There is also a bet builder feature, meaning that the amount of markets available is actually potentially limitless. While we will go into design in more detail later, we do want to make a point here that both of these options were very intuitive and easy to use.

Live Offer

4.5 / 5

  • As good as the pre-match offers
  • Equally high-quality odds
  • Graphics to help you follow the action

Mr Green are also no slouch when it comes to live options. Obviously, there is a lack of options at the time of writing, but that is normally far from the case with a huge amount of markets usually available. Pretty much whatever you can see on pre-match is available to bet on live. This also applies to the excellent amounts of sports and submarkets we discussed previously.

The situation with regards to the maximum stake remains the same, and indeed is even more fluid as the event goes on. In terms of margins, we expect the same level of quality, but as a test, we’ve currently got SC Freiburg vs Borussia Monchengladbach as an example. The former has odds of 17/5, the latter 7/10, and a draw has odds of 29/10. Translated, this comes to 22.7%, 25.6% and 58.8%: add those together and you get 107.1%, which is consistent to the level of quality we have come to expect.

The only downside to all of this is a lack of live streaming. We were hoping for live streaming, considering Mr Green are such a big name; even though, to be fair, it is something that only an elite few operators can manage. We don’t know the ins-and-outs of why this is the case – live streaming is one of the toughest things for a sportsbook to attain – but whatever the case is, there is no live streaming on sports available here.

They do, however, provide some excellent stats and graphics to help you follow the game and better inform your bets, and for that they should be commended. Still, many will be disappointed by this, and we hope things will change in the future.

5 / 5

  • Licenses in Malta and the United Kingdom
  • Excellent responsible gaming measures
  • Encryption of sensitive data

Mr Green’s reputation and success mean that we very much doubt that many are reading this expecting us to uncover some kind of conspiracy. While there are scam sites out there, they don’t usually manage to get away with it while presenting a wide variety of adverts for a period of several years.

So, yes, Mr Green is legitimate. They are licensed under Maltese Law, which, for those of you in the know, is one of the most sought-after gambling licenses in the gaming world. Alongside this, Mr Green is also licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission for that jurisdiction.

That is to be expected, but what might not be is their exemplary commitment to responsible gaming. You have betting limits as a prominent feature. If you do not set a limit during registration, it also reminds you during your deposits – just one example of them going above and beyond. There are also additional options for things like self-exclusion.

You also have a considerable amount of advice along with relevant links from the likes of Gamblers Anonymous. Remember that this is one of the most important things for you to check, even if you personally do not have any concerns about your gambling, because it really shows you just how seriously Mr Green takes its duty of care towards its customers. It’s a vital reflection, and in this case, it reflects very well indeed.

They also have an extensive privacy policy, which you can check out to ensure that you are comfortable with how your data is being used. The UK in general has high standards, and Mr Green does a great job of living up to them.

Also vital is the complaints procedure. Often, bookmakers will make this convoluted to find, because they don’t want to hear those complaints; this is always a sign of an irresponsible bookmaker. Not so with Mr Green, however; you’ll be able to find a clear and concise complaints form via the bottom of the homepage.

Finally, they also utilise encryption to ensure that all of the sensitive data you send is kept safe and away from the prying hands of internet baddies.

We expect nothing short of excellent when it comes to security, and Mr Green meets all our expectations – and then some.

Service and Customer Support

5 / 5

  • 24/7 coverage
  • Both phone line and live chat available
  • Great service

One area we were really impressed with was customer support. There are a few different options here: the first place to look is their help section. This is really well done – easy to find and easy to read. Although we would have preferred a touch more detail in a couple of areas, we would view it as overall being a success.

Of course, every betting site needs some person-to-person customer service no matter how good their help section is, and Mr Green certainly have you covered in that regard. They are available 24/7 through live chat alongside their customer service phone number, which for UK users is +4417655017. This is a local number, meaning there will be a small standard charge. There is also an e-mail address you can contact them on, which is

We used all options available on several occasions to test their quality.

As you can see, it begins with a bot. This will try to direct you to the right answer via the help section, but if you don’t find what you’re looking for, it does let you go to an operator very quickly. They responded in a matter of moments in peak time, so we were very impressed by that. They also went above and beyond in answering our questions, especially about the situation regarding promotions. It really felt like they cared about ensuring we got a satisfying answer and that we were talking to a real person and not someone reading off a script. The same compliments can be extended to the Phone service, which we used to ask about live streaming.

We sent an e-mail to ask if there were any promotions we had missed; this is the response we got. However, this was a day later, meaning that this channel of communication may not be suitable for urgent inquiries. As the e-mail suggests, that would be the function of the live chat. In actuality, the true purpose of the e-mail is to provide a record of your query; so while it does have its place in terms of usefulness, we just imagine it will be less commonly used than the other options for the vast majority of people.

Altogether, these create a genuinely great selection of customer service options. They provide the ability to get a high quality response at any time or a recorded response you can keep for long term use, as well as the option to talk to a member of their customer service team without unnecessarily high phone charges. We expected great things from a bookmaker with the reputation of Mr Green, and we think we got them.

It’s important to note that we are not alone in our experiences either, as through our research we have uncovered a great deal of positivity for the customer service team. If you know much about feedback on betting sites, you will know that is quite the compliment. Finally, the customer service team is also available in several different languages, just like the site itself.

Design & Usability

5 / 5

  • Beautifully designed site
  • Technically brilliant
  • Available in a variety of languages

Let’s get the negative out of the way first: there were a couple of confusing instances. Notably, the help button seems to not be available on a couple of random pages. These pages don’t add up to many, but is a slight wrinkle we would like to see ironed out. But overall, the design of Mr Green is an absolute triumph.

It’s friendly and distinct without being gimmicky, and while we understand that aesthetically that is down to preference, we think this is likely to have many more fans than it has detractors. From a technical and structural standpoint, it’s utterly seamless, easy to use and smooth as butter.

Mr Green is also available, as we’ve mentioned, in several languages, including Czech, German, English, Finish, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish and Swedish. We suppose people might want more general stats on the site, but the job they do during live games is absolutely fantastic in its speed and clarity.

They also have a general blog, but this is more casino than sports focused. Beyond that though, the design here is absolutely world-class: you just may have to get your news from elsewhere.

5 / 5

  • Available on both Android and iOS
  • Touch ID for speed login
  • Around the clock customer service

Speaking of great design, we have yet to talk about Mr Green’s brilliant mobile apps that are available on both Android and iOS. They were given the title of Online Operator of the Year, and we can’t help but think this was a big part of it.

You can enjoy all the choice you can expect from the main site, with over 70 sports to choose from and an absolutely world class live product. There is no missing content as far as we can tell, creating an absolutely smashing miniature version of the site.

Other Products

  • Huge game variety selection
  • Excellent live casino options too
  • Two casino dedicated promotions available
  • Virtual sports are missing

Of course, while our focus is largely on the sportsbook, we would be remiss to not mention their tour-de-force of a casino product. This is every bit as good as you would expect, with hundreds of slots from the finest software developers, dedicated jackpots, table games, Bingo, Keno and more. It’s all the casino you could ever need, including great promotions and even a live casino.

If you were disappointed with the lack of live streaming on the sportsbook, then you will be delighted to discover that here there’s a comprehensive live experience featuring the likes of Roulette, Blackjack, Poker, Baccarat and even Game Shows. It’s absolutely world class stuff, and really is the cherry on this casino cupcake.

The only thing that seems to be missing is virtual sports. How much this bothers you is obviously a personal thing; we just think it is ironic that a site which does so well as both casino and sportsbook betting options is absent when it comes to the logical connection between the two.

To give a clearer idea of the casino bonuses, we would also like to point out there are other promotions that are available;but, as they change quite consistently (once again you’ll often find these sent to you personally), we are going to focus on the two possible welcome bonuses for now.

You can choose between the 100% deposit bonus up to £50 and 50 free spins, and also a ‘Deposit up to £100, play and we’ll refund 50% of your losses’ bonus. The latter isn’t exactly winning any prizes when it comes to catchy titles, but it does explain itself rather well.

Both of these have a 35x wagering requirement, which is competitive for this kind of bonus. Remember that casino bonuses do have higher requirements across the board. Free spins also expire after 7 days and it is available on selected games only. We do have a slight issue with that last point, because the selected games are not made clear. Beyond that, these both appear like very fine casino bonuses, and are a nice reflection of what you can expect from casino bonuses more generally.

ThePuntersPage Final Say

While Mr Green does have a couple of minor flaws, they are indeed very small compared to the overwhelming number of things it does well. There is nothing here that we imagine will be much of a deal-breaker, with the exception of the lack of live streaming. If you can get over that, then you will likely have a great time here, with a site that is easy enough for beginners to use but has enough depth to please the experts.

What is really impressive, though, is just how well it balances all these different elements, meaning it’s perfect for those of you looking for a jack-of-all-trades option that’s able to provide a little bit of everything.

The Mr Green online casino has been operating since 2008 but they just added the sportsbook in 2016. They have a nice £10 free wager to match any sportsbook deposit of £10 or more. Mr Green has betting markets for football and American football but they offer a lot more. From Aussie Rules to Yachting, Mr Green sportsbook 35 different betting markets. They provide markets and odds for football games in more than 50 countries. From correct score and match result to the first goal scored and more, Mr Green offers a wide range of wagering possibilities. Their in-play live game betting options include things like the next goal and time interval. The site has a mobile app that lets punters place their wagers from any location with an internet connection.

Mr Green Sports Betting Welcome Offer & Promotions

The Mr Green sportsbook starts punters off with a nice welcome bonus/free bet and follows up with routine promotions and bonuses to its casino customers but does not yet have routine promotions for its sportsbook.

Dota 2

Dota 2 is also a free-to-play game and has more than 12 million active players. The game is complex and the prize pools are enormous. Mr Green sportsbook prides new punters with lots of information and instruction about betting on Dota 2. The bottom line for wagering in Dota 2 is to do your homework, learn the game, and follow the major players closely.

CSGO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive)

For betting on this eSport you need to follow the players and the teams and know how the game works. Then there is the potential for lots of winning wagers.

StarCraft 2

Heroes of the Storm

Heroes of the Storm is a more simple game than the others and, as such, can be a good place to start for a punter who is otherwise unfamiliar with eSports. There is a range of betting options based on the various heroes and possible outcomes.

About Mr Green Sports Betting Exchange

A betting exchange offers expanded betting opportunities for bettors. An exchange allows players to back and lay. This differs from traditional sportsbooks as bettors are able to bet on a choice to lose as well as win. An exchange also removes the risk from the bookmaker as bettors are going head to head with one another and not with the bookmaker. Take a look at our full review of Mr Green Sports to get all the information and latest updates from this great sportsbook.

At the time that this article was written, we were unable to find any information about a betting exchange available at Mr Green Sports.

Betopin’s Verdict on Mr Green Sportsbook

The Mr Green sportsbook offers lots of sports markets to be in (36 different sports) and has live game betting as well. Unfortunately, they do not offer live streaming of the live games you can wager on. They have an interesting selection of eSports which will be new to many punters but have an avid following. We like their large range of betting markets and options and the addition of eSports. We wish they would hurry and add live streaming of the games where live wagering is an option. All in all, Mr Green sportsbook is a good spot to place a wager on your favourite team or player.

We are pleased to offer information on welcome offers in this Mr Green Review.

How long does Mr Green Withdrawal Take?

A quick shout out to the PayPal withdrawal method here which is instant, and which in turn is instant from PayPal to your bank

However, be aware that Mr Green does make withdrawal charges, to the following scale

  • Up to €/£100 a fee of €/£1 is deducted
  • Over €/£100 a fee of 1% is deducted up to a maximum of €/£10

Personally, I think a 1% deduction of your balance is pretty poor.

From 14th April 2020 gambling companies in Great Britain will no longer accept credit cards as a funding method.

Mr Green Information

Within the index is a very helpful information section.

Here those new to sports betting and casino can learn about different aspects of particular games and sports, this will hopefully enhance their understanding and lead to more winning bets.

Mr Green App

This is pretty clear in their mobile app too which is actually called Mr Green Mobile Casino, but you can still access betting markets on there.

The app is easy enough to use with simple navigation around the various different sports that are offered by Mr Green Betting

Again with everything Mr Green, we found the feel of the app to be very modern and fresh, whilst maintaining ease of use.

I thought the IOS version was slightly better than the Android version.

Mr Green Bet Builder

It took a while but Mr Green has now embraced the ever-popular bet builder feature, and they have done a good job, with the builder being available on both mobile and desktop.

All the best bookmakers are now offering this type of bet.

The Mr Green Bet Builder lets you combine multiple pre-match football markets into one single bet.

Combi Spin

Combi-Spin is another good feature on their app, if you are feeling lucky and just want a random accumulator for the day picked by odds alone.

Simply pick a price which you want each selection to be, then click the spin button and it’ll give you a cracking acca.

Mr Green Review Summary

Obviously a very casino faced operation but with huge focus on building a better sportsbook, Mr green can offer just about everything the modern punter is looking for when considering a sportsbook and casino in one option.

Mr Green Mobile Review

The IOS app is just shading the user reviews right now, but with positive feedback on both, Android and IOS users should be very satisfied with the Mr Green Mobile offering.

Ladbrokes Mobile Offering

The Mr Green app on mobile was quick to download on IOS from the app store. The opening page is packed with graphics (mainly in green!) and looked a bit busy for those use to the cleaner lines of 21st-century sportsbooks.Mr Green App

Mr Green Casino App

Mr Green started life as a casino and games company so it’s understandable that these features heavily on their opening pages. New casino games, bonus spins, top jackpots are flagged

You are signposted to the Mr Green Sportsbook on the opening page.

When clicking the sportsbook, the current Mr Green Welcome offer pops up for the Sportsbook.

The Mr Green Sportsbook couldn’t be more different from the casino offering, with the look and feel of a regular sportsbook.

Its neatly laid out with live betting featuring heavily, they obviously feel that visitors to the page want to bet instantly on a current event rather than look for the sport of choice.

Instant Tennis, Jackpot Bets, Starting Soon, Popular are promoted before we get to the Mr Green index of sports

Great Mobile Sportsbook - Amazing Casino

What will you think of Mr Green on Mobile?

Once you get to the index of sports which is halfway down on the left-hand side of the page things become a little easier.

Clicking All Sports opens up an A-Z of sports, on test when searching for an EPL fixture the Mr Green App was quick and responsive.

The Mr Green Football statistics help bettors on individual games, which you can if you wish combine in a pre-loaded acca.

Mr Green Mobile

Mr Green on mobile as of 2020 does not feel like a Casino website with a Sportsbook added which is a testament to the designers, unlike many other operators who have launched sportsbooks.

However, there is no live streaming on offer which they need to remedy.

If you want a complete all-rounder of a site and then downloading the Mr Green App would cover all those bases.

To see if the Mr Green mobile site is for you, click the Mr Green sign up bonus on this page.

Mr Green Specials

With its brilliant search function, Mr Green has one of the simplest, easiest to use sites, and its specials are just another reason to try them out.

At the bottom of the Mr Green index you will see the specials tab, once clicked you can view daily boosts and pre-loaded enhanced accas.

These cover multiple sports and generally feature the bigger events of the day.

How To Open a Mr Green New Account

Mr Green Casino

What happens when you combine a passion for Internet gambling with a trio of enterprising Swedes (including Betsson co-founders Henrik Bergquist and Fredrik Sidfalk)? In one such case, the resulting mixture became Mr. Green, a leading site for online gaming.

Based on the island of Malta and operating since 2008, this casino website is available in multiple nations and has been publicly traded on the Swedish securities marketplace known as AktieTorget. But despite their growing popularity, there are still players who aren’t aware of what the site has to offer. That’s where my Mr Green Casino review comes into play.

Award-winning Casino

One indication of a casino’s quality is the number of industry awards they’ve managed to win over the years. In the case of Mr Green, here are some of the more significant accolades:

  • Listed among the Topp 100 by Internetworld in 2009 through 2014
  • Named Socially Responsible Operator of the Year by eGaming Review in 2012
  • Named Online Casino Operator of the Year by the International Gaming Awards in 2013, 2014, and 2015
  • Awarded Highly Commended Slots Operator of the Year by eGaming Review in 2014
  • Named Casino Brand of the Year by eGaming Review in 2014

How Good is Mr Green’s Software?

Younger online gamblers may not remember, but casinos in years past were powered by a single type of software. That’s changed in recent years, as growing competition has resulted in sites bringing in multiple designers and bundling their products together for the convenience of the customer. The latter is the case with Mr Green, as they offer games from each of the following companies: NetEnt, IGT, NextGen, Microgaming, Quickspin, Bally, Quickfire, Play’N Go, Yggdrasil, Evolution Gaming, and Edict.

I’ve been using the site since 2013, and I’ve never encountered any technical problems. All games function properly without pauses or lags, and the audio/visual presentation is crisp and clean. The constant presence of the enigmatic Mr. Green mascot is also novel, as he looks like a combination of a sophisticated gentleman and a Batman villain.

Another plus is that the site uses no-download Flash software. This allows you to play from any browser, whether it’s your own Mac or the PC at the local Internet café. I’m a major supporter of this option, as I feel less constrained about where I can do my gambling.

Mr Green is also a major destination for mobile players, and they were honored as the Best Mobile Casino in the World at the 2016 International Gaming Awards. Both Apple and Android customers can download the mobile app, and live roulette and blackjack are included along with a suite of traditional favorites. Exclusive bonuses are also included for app players, which is a smart way to encourage further patronage. Best of all, there are more than 300 games to choose from, which is significantly higher than the amount provided by most casinos.

Prohibited Countries

Almost all online casinos keep a list of restricted nations, and Mr Green is no different. They currently prevent over 100 different nations from playing at their casino, which is the largest list I’ve ever seen. I won’t list them all, but some examples include the following: United States, Costa Rica, Spain, Denmark, India, France, Greece, Hong Kong, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and South Africa.

I’m not sure why Mr Green’s list of restricted nations is larger than the competition. I get the sense whoever wrote the list is being extra thorough and including every nation that prohibits online gambling. Then again, maybe they just hate people who live in Martinique and Cameroon (just kidding).

How to Fund Your Play

When you’re ready to make a deposit, the following options are available: Visa, MasterCard, direct bank transfer, e-wallet, PaySafe. With the exception of the direct bank transfer, all of these transactions are processed instantly. In the case of the lone exception, you can expect your money to be deposited within 24 hours.

Because of “regulatory requirements,” Mr. Green requires customers to make withdrawals with the same method they used for deposits. If the customer is unable or unwilling to do so, then the only other option is to have it transferred to a bank account. This means the available withdrawal methods include Visa, MasterCard, direct bank transfer, and e-wallet services.

Players receive one free withdrawal during a seven-day period. If another withdrawal is requested during this time period, then a fee is charged. For smaller requests, this can range from a single euro to 20 Czech Republic koruna. Larger withdrawals result in a 1% fee, with the maximum ranging from 10 for euros and British pounds to 200 for Czech currency.

Getting a Bonus

The welcome package for Mr Green offers bonuses on your first four deposits. Your initial deposit results in a 100% matching bonus up to 100 euros, as well as 100 free spins on their signature slot, Mr Green Moonlight (which has a cool supernatural theme involving hunting werewolves).

The second deposit is 50% up to 50 euros. The third is 25% up to 100 euros, and the fourth is 125% up to 100 euros.

It should be noted that the website doesn’t readily provide the wagering requirements for the above bonus, and even looking through their entire terms and conditions page didn’t result in any answers. I don’t know whether they’re intentionally trying to hide it or the designer just did a poor job. Either way, it’s important information that needs to be included.

Which Games to Choose?

Hundreds of slot machines are available from Mr. Green. Since they draw their products from a number of software providers, you can expect a healthy mix of original and licensed products. Some of my favorites include Game of Thrones, Hellboy, Zombies, and Tomb Raider.

If you like to win major sums of money, you can choose from 11 progressive jackpot games. These titles include Arabian Nights, Mega Joker, Hall of Gods, and the always-profitable Mega Moolah.

For those who prefer table games, you can find classics such as roulette and blackjack. A limited selection is available, however, which means Mr. Green favors slots above all other gaming options.

They also have a live casino with blackjack and roulette. While two games might not sound like much, they’ve included a number of variants for a total of three blackjack options and seven roulette games. Lovely female dealers are always available, and their male counterparts are also included on a more limited basis.

How Mr Green Services Customers

The customer service team is available 24/7, and this even extends to major holidays. They can be reached via phone, email, or live chat, which should be more than enough options for any customer.

If you’re not in a hurry, email is the best method. All queries are answered within 24 hours, and I’ve usually received a reply in under two hours. For those in a rush, the phone and live chat versions give you an instant connection to representatives who are polite, professional, and eager to assist.

If you’re obsessed with slots and mobile gaming, then Mr. Green Casino is definitely worth a look. The site has repeatedly been recognized with industry awards for their overall quality, and their mobile casino app is light years ahead of the competition. The site also has a slick, eye-catching design, although most other areas of the casino hover around the industry average.
